Q1: As educators, our craft is always evolving. Besides Twitter, what’s the best way for you to find new ideas to try in your teaching or classroom? #4thchat
A1: I learn new things by attending webinars, Edcamps, conferences, reading blogs and educational articles, but Twitter is when I learn the most. #4thchat
A1: I love going to conferences and seeing all of the awesomeness going on in schools! Just returned from #MACEKS18 and I got so many great ideas! #4thchat
A1 Twitter, Pinterest, district offered PD. I also did a stem program this year with #remsl and brought back so many ideas to incorporate in science! #4thchat
A1: I just love talking to teachers, be it at conferences, edcamps, or in the faculty lounge. So many great things being done in education. Give us time and put us together and prepare to be amazed. #4thchat

A1 I don’t collect so much these days, but analyse what I’ve done before. I use a ‘Highs/Lows/Nos chart to help my thinking, thanks to @NoTosh for that. #4thchat
A3 I was very into flexible seating in lower el, but it has proven more difficult with bigger bodies. I need to keep getting creative. My old stuff doesn’t work! #4thchat
Q1: I love Twitter, Instagram, and several groups on Facebook! I'll even chat ya up while slicing your lunch meat at Harris Teeter, right @MLRing100@jbarbernc@3gemsmom ? #4thchat
A3: to help with flexible seating arrangements I got rid of anything that wasn’t relevant to this bunch of learners. ‘Twas my cluttery stuff, mostly! #4thchat
Sometimes our brains are just overloaded!!!! #4thchat They have so many features - love the ability to add a video! That alone would be a great way for classes to connect & respond to.
Q4: ANYTHING to hold my students accountable when taking myself out of the equation! They sure do love @ProdigyGame and @TenMarks this year though! #4thchat
A4: I’m collecting any interesting infographics I find and hope to start a 5-min spot in lesson digging in to the maths (maths = Aussie word for math BTW) #4thchat
A5: One I’ve used before and need to start using again - NoRedInk is on a mission to build better writers https://t.co/3nyNmTLbF5 Helps with grammar and personalizes the sentences kids practice.

I like that you said "this bunch of learners" because every year it's different. Some kiddos can handle things that other groups can't. @brettelockyer#4thchat

Really? I always thought about it but never could part with it (even though I was only sitting at it a short time of the day!) Still with me in my new role as Digital Learning Coach. #4thchat

Loving the tips coming thru for Q4. My A4: also thinking of a 5-min spot looking at the BOM - our national weather site. Student questions/thinking up front. https://t.co/ShdZqXB1Zf#4thchat
A6 We have iPads, but lost the ability to use iMovie, etc because our Ss don’t have Apple ID’s. Hoping to be able to use the Apple apps again soon #4thchat
Honestly, it was silly of me to keep it because it just collected papers. But it's a big old fashioned wooden desk & I've had it for 28 years! #4thchat

Oh, YES! @seesaw is so amazing. Kids can respond in so many ways and it is all kept within the members of the classroom. Awesome collector if kids at work. #4thchat
A2 #4thchat You can use the app @IFTTT to save my twitter favorites into a google sheet. The app does anything it stands for "If this then that" it makes apps work together and there are hundreds of miniapps to choose from. Just tap and it sets them up.
A4 #4thchat I use this ALL DAY. A new seating chart daily. Multiple groups throughout day.
note you can refresh if a grouping doen't work for you. Choose "random name picker" and look at the groupings. https://t.co/SsussBp6R3: https://t.co/RdBeOb0RiG
A4 #4thchat Minnesota stds (we are common core ELA but not math) but still great resources on misconceptions and vignettes SciMathMN https://t.co/96v7a8fs2h
A7: I love sharing new ideas! I walk across the hall, down the hall or wherever someone will listen! Online is great too, bc someone always responds! #4thchat
#4thchat A6 This is a simple but elegant one. You can do manually but @alicekeeler makes it simple. Try anything with this: Writing, book reviews, math thinking, etc. One class in ONE file. Easy for feedback and org. Add Your Roster https://t.co/DKiFFnhAkr
A8: With a snap of my fingers: flexible seating and high top tables for students to be able to stand and work. Oh! And all of my files organized! #bigdreams#4thchat
A7 #4thchat This is fun to do for writing. Try it out. You don't get to stop and copy/paste your writing unless you keep typing. The Ss love it! The Most Dangerous Writing App https://t.co/cilldED9aq
I keep trying to apply - Hoping I can do that soon. I know there's a lot more than just watching the videos & taking the quizzes...making webs, movies #4thchat

#9 Show them how teaching and learning should be magical for our students. When they see the excitement & enthusiasm, they will WANT to change! #4thchat
a9 time by no means is a teachers friend, but there is always time to learn something new. Even just 5 minutes on Twitter can spark the journey! #4thchat
I agree. I feel like I am constantly prioritizing which things need/have to happen first. So much to worry about- the kids first, but SO much more. #4thchat
