The #INeLearn hashtag is used for both asynchronous sharing and synchronous conversations. Include #INeLearn in your tweets if you want to share resources or questions with Indiana educators and school leaders. Asynchronously, the #INeLearn hashtag provides educators across the state of Indiana a central space for sharing. On Thursday evenings beginning at 8 CST/9 EST when you use the #INeLearn hashtag, you are joining a live conversation--the #INeLearn Twitter Chat. For one hour, we interact in real time having a virtual discussion.
#INeLearn A1 Try to find the one thing that will help my staff succeed in the classroom. Ts have so much going on in the classroom (especially the elementary Ts) that I want to be there to assist them.
R1: Last convo I was part of last night discussed HOPE. It is establishing hope that we give to our colleagues that we will discover new and innovatve ways to connect with our Ss #INeLearn#IDedchat
R1: Also welcomed one of our elementary building Ts to a brand new MakerLab. Ts experienced sewing, LittleBits, Paper Circuits, Strawbees, Legos, etc. #IneLearn
R1: Focus on being purposeful in developing a full coaching cycle so teachers know you’re going to be there through the entire growth process as they try new strategies. #INeLearn

#INeLearn R2 For us, finding new adventures outside the walls of the classroom for our students. They love the Mystery Skype/Hangouts! Been fortunate to take our Ss to Sweden, Russia and Canada with Israel on deck. They love the interaction with other Ss.

Q3: The gym is packed for a few weeks after resolutions are made, but people quickly lose interest. How do we make our PD gyms a place people want to keep coming back to? #INeLearn
R3: A way for Ts to share successes and failures. Bring others on board for what worked, get support for the duds. Everybody started at the bottom, right? #inelearn
R3: PD MUST be individualized for our Ts. It must meet THEIR needs and be developed specifically for the content area/grade level. If it is “one size fits all” they won’t attend. #INeLearn
R3 I liked @nthorg's Bingo board idea for this reason-create ways Ts can jump back in, allow growth/change to be a process-lots of stops and starts #INeLearn
R2: January 5th #LevelUpYI with @alicekeeler kick starts our month and it will be followed by intentional support based off of feedback from the day. #RCSNextGen Cadre and the eTeam will be busy keeping the fire going! #INeLearn
I'm working on a blended PD platform for our teachers this semester. It will give them choice and the opportunity to try things on their own. #INeLearn
A teacher I met long ago used to call those her "resident experts" - the kids who could help classmates w/a specific area. Everybody loves to be considered an expert. #INeLearn
#INeLearn R4 Right now, PD for technology training is all me! Been fortunate to have two great instructional coaches who I meet with to blend their ideas with technology. Big thanks to everyone here who shared ideas!
R4: All of the amazing people I've met through #INeLearn and the connected coach collaborative #eLeadNWI -support and fast friends! Also my #WDC17 family for life!
R5: Continue to expand on blended learning with my Ss and looking at different opportunities to share and grow my integration with Ss and Ts. #INeLearn
R5: My coaching partners @technicoleDSC & @techmarshallDSC have been doing leveled PD in their buildings, and I'd like to continue that in my building. Same topic but leveled to meet Ts where they are. #INeLearn
A5 this is my 2nd semester as an e-coach. Learning about my colleagues daily at @SR_Raiders was my favorite thing I did in the fall. I hope to continue to build relationships in the spring #INeLearn
R5: I'm running an online asynchronous course for Ts interested in becoming Google certified. Looking to provide as much voluntary PD as possible! #INeLearn
R5: I started blogging. It has been a great personal time for purposeful reflection and although I don't always feel like I have anything to share - I promise to continue pushing myself to be vulnerable. #INeLearn

I would love to hear more about this for your math classes. We are trying new things to get our students to be more curious in the math classroom and not just number regurgitators. #INeLearn
R6: Don't always go to your advanced tech users & risk takers to test things out. They aren't representative of most of our Ts. Give everyone a chance to pilot things. #INeLearn
Yes! I feel ya on that. And I never want to use any of the hashtags I usually do. So I just throw it out there on its own and cross my fingers! hahaha #INeLearn
R6: We should put students at the top of the pyramid. Everything we introduce needs to help students engage in learning and make teaching more simple. #INeLearn
R6: shouldn’t our Ss be the top of the pyramid? We should be lifting them up. If we are talking Ts, as eCoaches, we should be establish a group of Ts who feel comfortable sharing and experimenting to share with those not so comfortable. #INeLearn
R5: I start doing Tech Tool Tuesdays where I send out a short tutorial about a tool to Ts on Tuesdays. Then they can run with it on their own or contact me if they want more help #inelearn

#INeLearn R6. Love to share Ts success! When colleagues see others work, they see the opportunity to be successful. Got to give credit to my colleague @1988project! Not afraid to try new things in his classroom. Great environment to walk into!
R6: We should put students at the top of the pyramid. Everything we introduce needs to help students engage in learning and make teaching more simple. #INeLearn
A6b and I agree with others- Ss should be top of pyramid. Our tech leadership team keeps Ss first and try to make use of tech more comfortable for Ts, Ss and Ps #INeLearn
The #MTBoS did a blogging initiative to start the school year (#PushSend) with explicit directions to tag the hell out of the thing. I know what you mean tho. I still catch myself thinking "is this post MTBoS-worthy?". #INeLearn
Yes! Blended was a recent elearning book club choice. I always get a group of Ts from my district to participate in the book clubs together. So glad we read blended! #INeLearn
Our call for presenters is live! Don't get us wrong, we love our frequent flyers, but we'd love to have some new presenters this year as well! Submit your info here: https://t.co/XkqylbPUFU#inelearn#connectingthe4cs
R7: This is something that we look at in @ltgoodnews and how to work with Ts. I believe we need to build relationships with Ts beyond just offering advice. ?ing is important to help guide Ts to reflect and grow. #INeLearn
R7 Get to know your colleagues and learn their pressure points. Best way to "correct" is to support them in seeing issues so that they are looking for solutions #INeLearn
I often find myself thinking the same thing. "Am what I am sharing going to be worthwhile?" Just go for it! My goal is to share what others are doing on a weekly basis this semester. #INeLearn
R6: I agree with Ss, they should be who we are trying to improve everything for. But I also go back to something I heard about celebrate every teacher as their own levels. They should all be at top but each in their own way. #inelearn

R7: Relationships between coaches and teachers is so important. You don't necessarily need to start speaking school. Start by learning who you are working with. #INeLearn
R7: sometimes it is necessary to meet outside of the school setting as well. It should be one-on-one and non-evaluative. This is often difficult for Ts to get past when you are meeting to “help them grow” #INeLearn

One of the teachers who put the plan together "hosted" each week, she put out a "Sunday Funday" post with a link to everyone's post for that week. It was a cool way to get a lot of folks' input on the same topic, and provided a signal boost too. #INeLearn
R8: @LCHSBears, we put out a monthly newsletter sharing new strategies, Ts using new tools, etc. we also have a calendar where Ts can demo new strategies in their classroom and colleagues can come in to observe. #INeLearn
I find that Ts usually know what they want to work on, so asking the right questions and simply listening can be powerful. #INeLearn Then being there to offer support and resources.
Building relationships is key! Also being able to model for them
In actual classrooms and letting them see how we deal w/troubleshooting and running it with Ss #inelearn
And I love co-teaching as well. If you make a mistake, it shows the teachers that you are "human" as well. Same as when a teacher makes a mistake in front of their students. #INeLearn

R8: Start the new semester with a pledge to connect. Show Ts where and how to connect with other educators. Encourage them to set aside time each week to connect. #eLeadNWI just blogged about this https://t.co/LNLfcH7v23. #INeLearn
R8: I feel like the #ObserveMe movement could be useful here. Like @LCHS_Bio said, it helps to have a culture where Ts are comfortable seeing their colleagues, and being seen. #inelearn
The #ObserveMe movement is HUGE for letting others into your classroom and letting others give suggestions. This is such a powerful movement. #INeLearn

R8 I loved Ts that found things on their own-sharing their new learning was like "bested the coach" by being connected brags-in some cases it motivated their peers to do the same #INeLearn
