Welcome to tonight focused on creating your learn path! Please introduce yourself to everyone!! https://t.co/cCViCJPsjA
Evening all, James here. Tonight's moderator. Ready to talk creating your learn path with you all! I've got some great Q's!
A1: It is important because you are able to choose learning which has relevance to you. It enables you to gain useful knowledge
Hi James: Q1 taking self-responsibility for learning is fundamental, as is selecting how, where, why, what u want to learn.
That's a really important one. Selecting the how, where, why, what etc. It chooses critical learners! https://t.co/LGPLt200Wo

A1 - creating my learning path requires understanding which other folks I will seek insights from (and who I will ignore)
great tweet. I think understanding is key and also the depth of understanding determines how far you go in my opinion....
Hey Ed, yes, selecting the people who you will learn with is also important. I agree.
thanks for joining us tonight!
imo the process of understanding is never ending, and no current state is ever permanent
well, through process we learn, but it isn`t necessarily understood, and indeed needn`t be.
What makes you say that ? https://t.co/BflSWnqBQG

yes, Susan Sontag said we shud learn from 12 to 16, 20 t 24, and 50 to 54. But, it`s lifelong really. If u want to stay young.
A2 The day I die my learning path will be shorter than before but it will be just as integral to who I am as the earlier learning
A2: Learn paths can be easily created. Those who want to create one need to be open to critically think about everything
Oh, through painting; the process is invaluable. It`s the understanding we seek. Perhaps, never finding it.
. interesting to me to how the arts give us different ways of learning/knowing
oh for sure! I agree the arts are such an amazing platform
Well, critical pedagogy begins with social justice. So, one must determine what, where, how, why with whome. All critical q`s.
And your feelings abt these things shud determine your pathway. And it may mean u hv 2 create it. All travel. So b it.
yunno, u may not agree with the schools ideology. Or pedagogy. Or curriculum. So, you say no. And dig deeper. Personalising.
I noticed a free school in Berlin that opened the other day, offering radical pedagogy, self determination, etc Market changing.
where is everyone? Oh, well, nice to chat. Seeya next time. Gotta hit the road.
thanks for joining us! Safe travels
A4: For sure! But people need to pursue THEIR own passions without anyone else knocking them down along the way
Thanks everyone for a short, but sweet tonight! Goodnight from West Auckland, NZ
