Welcome to tonights chat over Microsoft Office 365 & Microsoft in Education. We're glad you're here, please introduce yourself.

Q1 has stepped things up for education, what is your favorite tool and why?
Are there any Area 8 folks in the chat tonight? Thinking the summer has us all too busy tonight, my phone's about to die as well
A1 Onenote combines the best of all in one place
A1 Im Alyssa and I love the functionality and flexibility that class notebook gisve OneNote! I can push info out at any point!
Q2 For #0365 users what is 1 thing you wish it had that it didn't and non users whats 1 thing that has kept you from trying it?
agreed good to see you on, don't think we will have much participation but transcripts will be available so share
A2 I wish, and I think it is coming, I had the ability to set due dates and turn assignments off to be graded!
Q3 Lets talk the 4 C's - How have you and/or students used Office 365 For collaboration?
A3 collaboration is easy with Microsoft online, and Skype chat built in, online office programs make collaboration a breeze
A3 I have used the collab space to for project groups in class, and to keep ideas flowing at all times among my student council.
A3 we use supported app we video for “infomercial” book reports
Q4 Communication is the next of the 4 C's - What are some ways you are using for improved communication practices?

Q5 Creativity is vital in Educ., how does provide options for you and your students to show creativity in the classroom?
A5 creativity isn’t limited to pen-and-paper artists. allows students to show creativity through other outlets 1/2
A5 contd. such as digital art, video design, etc. gives a voice to those previously too shy 2/2
Q6 The last of the 4 C's, Critical Thinking is a must in the classroom. How can Office 365 foster Critical Thinking activities?
A6 critical thinking is encouraged through exploration and analysis... How does NOT foster that?!
A6 allowing other forms of exploration (virtual tours, audiobooks, etc.) Ss are able to think about problems in new ways they ❤️
Q7 As a new school year nears, what NEW Office 365 tools do you plan on trying out in your classroom? How do you see it helping?
A7... Microsoft Classroom?! The preview just wasn’t enough for me, and I can’t wait to see how it helps my class run smoothly!
A7 sway will be new for me this year, and I hope to work with my historian to create something amazing!
A7 mix is relatively new for me and my classroom. It made for an AWESOME Xcred project this past year. I ❤️ giving Ss a mix w/ ?s
