We cannot be effective if we are not visible and willing to get into the work. Build relationships. Know what's going on inside and outside of the campus.
There’s many demands on leaders coming at you from multiple places... this stress can cause us to simply want to get it done and put it away. It’s critical to prioritize & constantly reassess. #HISDAdminChat
A2. I think because their are tasks that leaders have to have done out of compliance and those tasks don't lead to effective practices in the real world of an organization. #HISDAdminChat

A2: A leader can get caught up implementing efficient systems instead of doing what’s best for students. Every now and then we must pause for a temperature check to determine what’s truly working and what’s not. #HISDAdminChat

A2. Time! Lol. Our work unfortunately sometimes focuses on meeting deadlines. Getting students to a certain point in the curriculum, regardless of if they learned it to mastery or not. STAAR is here, just get it in. #HISDAdminChat
