A3: I don't use textbooks so all of our nonfiction reading comes from news articles or

Yes! I've used October Sky, Steve Jobs: Insanely Great, Pi in the Sky, Flush, and The Apprenticeship of Lucas Whitaker

A4: Pi in the Sky is an AWESOME science fiction text. It has good solid physics but it's mixed in with a crazy imaginative story

A4: When I taught math, I read a lot of fiction like Sir Circumference and the Dragon of Pi. Older kids enjoy Chasing Vermeer
