The Ss come to school so excited for their first day. Who wants to go on endless tours & hear lists of "do nots?"
A5: On parent end-I plan to text pictures of their child adjusting to their phones so they can 'see' we are doing ok.
A5: Make the day fun! The more engaged the Ss are, the less they'll be thinking about being away from home!

This is a great idea & is something I have done for families throughout the year when they have challenging days.
