A2: show me data to support change, give me time to learn and implement. i might have to hear it a few times to stick

I could not agree more. Behavior is relevant to every teacher in the field.
Q4: Continuing ed is required for teaching license renewal. What are your greatest challenges to fulfilling this?
A3: behavior, organization, and learning strategies
YES!! Working together, not one assisting another
A4: My biggest challenge for continuing ed is cost. Classes, conference fees, & travel are expensive. Time is #2 barrier for PD.
A4: I am still a student, but would love to learn from others on this topic!
A4: I feel like it will be most difficult to find the time to continue ed.
You are the perfect place to hear about it! :)
A4 time, time, relevant PD , time $$ ow and time
It will be same barrier, only you'll be a broke teacher & no longer get the student discount! ;)
A4: I am still a student, but I am interested in learning from other educators.
A4: cost, time away from students, and finding professional dev opportunities that are the right fit
Yes that was our topic last week always necessary https://t.co/DoVn7qLL6e
A3: PD on successful coteaching and how to make the most of multiple teachers in one classroom.

A4: Cost is always an issue for TTs. I wish everything was free and everyone could go! :)
Q5: If you could plan a perfect day of training & development, what would you love to learn more about?
Thank goodness for that because my school doesn't permit Ts to have PD days to attend conferences!
I am a student as well, and I am also looking forward to gaining some incite from other educators on this topic!
i'm loving the online webinars. free and great info.
Yes time & money. Also it is hard to miss class time to go to some conferences https://t.co/WqLXvgqHT4
A4: My biggest challenge for continuing ed is cost. Classes, conference fees, & travel are expensive. Time is #2 barrier for PD.
You'll get creative - it's what teachers do! If you present at conferences, your fee is usually waived.
I believe that finding time away from students would be a a big obstacle in continuing education.
A5: School-wide PD related to UDL to make inclusion work for all students. Every classroom. EVERY school. Wish it were mandatory.
Admit it. My AbleNet webinars were your very favorite, though, right? ;)

Q6: What do you wish school leaders kept in mind when planning PD for staff?
A6: I wish that they would keep the students as the main focus.
Ding! Ding! Ding! THAT was the correct answer! Well done, Darla. You passed today's test. :) https://t.co/Wf4BrETwkl
A5: mental health. hands down.
A6: School leaders should keep in mind for PD: Don’t assume we know nothing or that we want to learn same thing over and over.
A6: that it may not look the same for every teacher!
A6: I think leaders should take the interests of the Ts into consideration. There are things they are very interested in learning
A6: I wish they would have PD sessions on topics teachers are requesting to learn about.
Wouldn't it be amazing if PD was friendly? Choices for everyone!
AND the conference in the spring. Really good stuff.

A6. ask themselves "how will this make my staff better teachers?"
