A1. Want to be sure everyone knows about the badges that will be shared and opportunity for two people, who post at the hashtag #BookCampPD , to win a book of their choice from those we are highlighting this summer. Books will be given away every two weeks.

A1: For me, it's taking maybe 20-30 mintues a day to read through interesting threads or hashtags (like #BookCampPD) that interest me... but devoting the bulk of my summer time to recharge, read, and be with family! Balance is the name of the summer game!

A1. Always wanting to hear your fabulous ideas about improving our #BookCampPD summer professional learning. If you have any suggestions about sharing badges or something that would make our initiative better, >please< share!
A1: For me PD usually take place in the early mornings before the rest of my house is up. I like the quiet time to learn and grow and create ideas and try out new things for my classroom. #BookCampPD

A1: Summer is when I make some of my dreams come true--the research I want to do, the books I want to read, the people I want to connect with, etc. I try to get up early to get learning done before family time. #BookCampPD#Path2Serendipity
The learning continues in July with #BookCampPD 's summer professional learning - FAR - Friends and Reading. Stephanie Harvey and Annie Ward @Stephharvey49@AnnieTWard and their amazing new book "From Striving to Thriving" will be highlighted during the last two weeks in July!

A2: Supporting Struggling Learners. I have spent a lot of time over the past few years really focusing on making math accessible for ALL students. I teach both Special Ed and Gifted so my day is full of thinking about differentiation strategies. #BookCampPD

A2: Path the Serendipity...I am currently reading this book. It has touched me on both a professional and personal level so far. I love the act of "peeling the onion." I encourage others by tweeting about what I'm reading! #BookCampPD

A2 I love a good PD that will enlighten and support any field. From striving to thriving gives support to all and take always for the classroom and other areas. Supporting struggling readers is huge to support the whole student with literacy. #BookCampPD

A2: Great choices! I just started #Path2Serendipity , & I'm loving the personal connections so far. As for enticing others, our schl book club discussed possible summer book study. Could be done online w/google slides, so ppl could contribute/learn by own schedule. #BookCampPD

A3: I used to hesitate to respond if I hadn't read the book cover-to-cover... but eventually I just started jumping in, throwing out ideas or questions, & found that I was embraced by all. This #PLN & #BookCampPD ROCK! Everyone can join! Jump on in, the water's fine! :)

A1 I love “catching up” on twitter through relevant hashtags. It’s also easier to chat first thing or in the evening when life is not as chaotic. Find what works for you! #bookcampPD

A2: I'm excited for all of the books, but IT's All About the Books is a great connection for me. I love using books to learn math, social studies, science concepts as well as literary ideas. #bookcamppd
What I meant to say was having the moderator tweet out the question multiple times a day (schedule it through Tweetdeck). My Twitter game is not as consistent in the summer. #bookcampPD
