    DOK doesn’t mean there can’t be differentiation. A great benefit is that Ts can increase the rigor for students according to their own pace. We can then gather what works best and help Ss achieve new levels based on THEIR needs, not ours. #ohedchat

    A3 Bloom's focuses on the verb (i.e. describe, analyze) while DOK focuses on what comes after the verb. You can write DOK 1, 2, and 3 tasks all with the verb describe #ohedchat

    A2: As an IC I have observed this challenge and the urgent need to shift the focus to evidence of student learning. As Teachers we could be asking a DOK 2/3 type of question but students are working at a DOK 1. #ohedchat

    You can start the deeper learning experience for #DOK by asking the Ss what are the words, phrases, and terms they don't know or understand in the objective & phrase it as a question - DOK-1. #ohedchat
