    #nt2t Hi! Gwena, HS Spanish T from IN. I hate cold weather and snow and ice, so my favorite thing to do in cold weather is Netflix binge and/or watch movies. (Note: This is only my fourth year teaching in classroom, but the state only counts it as the end of my third year).

    A1: By having a class Twitter page, parents and the community can see what is happening in the class. Teachers can also display student work here to show achievement. #NT2t

    A2: If students are able to use personal Twitter accounts in the classroom, the teacher could assign exit tweets. This could show the teacher where student understanding is, and where to begin the lesson next class. #NT2t

    A1: Having a class twitter account where students can post their works includes the students' families and communities in what is going on. Sharing every student's work is a great way to show inclusion in your classroom as well. #NT2t

    A2 Parents, administrators and any other Twitter skeptics need to see proof of success. Get examples from your network of how Twitter made a difference for the better at other schools. #nt2t

    I have dealt with this when I lived rurally. Kids can compose tweets on paper and bring them in to school to post. #NT2t

    A3: We can use twitter to build the students reading and writing skills by having them tweet out something about class every day, this will help them practice writing. And then have them comment on someone else's tweet will improve both reading and writing. #NT2T

    A1: working on a non-digital version of twitter to use as formative assessment. Using the basic pieces of twitter, but not fighting our internet filter #nt2t

      Agree, it SHOULD start at home, but that's not always the case 😳 This is why I think it's a great idea to have a #digcit night for parents; teach them how to use social media responsibly. #NT2t

    No. They post but I tell them to call me over to check Tweet. We are also not Tweeting constantly during the day so there is time to check tweets. #nt2t

    One piece of advice I always give to newbies....don't make your #PLN an echo chamber (although you will at first). Make sure you follow those who challenge ur thinking so you learn & grown outside ur box. #NT2t
