Greetings, #read4fun Just finished listening to A Thousand Thanks to help up my expressed gratitude. Coming to you from Indy, retired T, still active in library land.
A1. My resolution this year is to read at least 30 books, alternating between professional and personal reads. I use @goodreads and a journal to keep track of my reading. #Read4Fun
A1: I set a @goodreads goal every year. This year is 35 books. This can include PD books but I don’t include books I read to my students. I LOVE biographies and non-fiction so I’m trying to include more of that. #Read4Fun
That’s great! I did that with my daughters when they were growing up and we all love @jodipicoult books! We race to be the first to read them! #Read4Fun
That one is on my nightstand! I had hoped to start tonight but need to finish a review first! I can’t wait! Only heard great things about it! #Read4Fun
When it got to the later books in the Harry Potter series, we had to buy 3 copies; none of us would share! #Read4Fun (and afterwards, donated extras to school library)

That’s a great idea! I tend to put mini stickies to bookmark the pages and many have notes on them. However, when I am not near my bookshelf I can’t access the info! #Read4Fun
I also have some in my bookcase that I want to read too! The stack is never ending!! And it keeps growing! Need to curb the urge to buy more right now! #Read4Fun
A2: not a new story, but I bought this beautiful copy (*not this photo but am I the only one who sometimes waits to find a copy with a beautiful cover? haha) & have only read a few pages in. #Read4Fun
A2: I’m going to circle back to Making Thinking Visible a book that went along with the course a number of us took through Harvard School of Education. The course was incredible and I need to dig back into the book to find some more thinking routines and dispositions #read4fun
A2: Got Michelle Obama’s “Becoming” as a gift. Started it today. Am also currently reading “Between Me and You” by Alison Winn Scotch on my Kindle #Read4Fun
My 15 yr old and I just started a book about H J Heinz. We’re originally from Pittsburgh so I’m expecting to come across some familiar names and places.#Read4Fun
A3 I include PD books in my #Read4Fun stack too! I am looking forward to 'Take a L.E.A.P.' by @ElisaBostwick and 'Lead Beyond Your Title' by @nbartley6 - two enthusiastic educators! I can't wait to get these titles soon!
