#fcsvanguard is the home of the Vanguard team's Thursday Twitter Chats. It is also a great place to post success stories, updates, and so much more. It's a chat that anyone can join and a great way to find new ideas. Join the community today!
A1: I've worked with the video production teacher on student projects, the science teachers on how to explain diffusion with a lab, and with other teachers on developing plans that effect the entire school. #fcsvanguard
True, I forgot intros because I didnāt want to start late. Iām Jessie Downs and I teach Spanish at Westlake. Dr. Bennett teaches Physics there too @westlakelions@FCSVanguard#fcsvanguard#VanPoints
A1:Art, Music, & PE collaborate really well at my school. If one of has an issue, we all put our heads together to come up with a solution. #fcsvanguard
Tonight we are discussing collaboration in the #fcsvanguard chat feel free to join us. U donāt have to be part of @fcsvanguard to join the conversation! We are talking about collaboration so what better way than to collaborate on this chat
A1 integrating technology into curriculum is a great way to collaborate with teachers who teach in other disciplines. Making cross curricular connections is another positive of collaboration. #fcsvanguard
A1 I havenāt had an opportunity to do that at my school . Partly b/c we are self contained and partly b/c we donāt have opportunities to do that. I would like to however!#fcsvanguard
Thatās awesome! When you collaborated with the video production teacher, was it to support what your students studied in your Social Stuides classes? #fcsvanguard
A1: I've worked with the video production teacher on student projects, the science teachers on how to explain diffusion with a lab, and with other teachers on developing plans that effect the entire school. #fcsvanguard
A1: Our T's collab cross-curricularly on a fairly regular basis. Our PL ldrhp team meets monthly to discuss best practices and share ideas on how to take their work to scale. #fcsvanguard
Teacher from Findley Oaks here
A1: i face to face collab with teachers in the school daily for all the needs of my students. We e-mail and share documents, but nothing beats meeting together in person. #fcsvanguard
A1: I feel like we do a really good job of using our coaches (PBL, STEM, math) to collaborate with and learn from. They also bring ideas from other grade levels to us since we canāt always go see other teachers teaching. #fcsvanguard
A1: Not sure what the question was but based on others answers... I love collaborating with specials teachers to incorporate meaningful projects that include art, music, and physical education. #fcsvanguard
Sometimes. Some of our students have both classes and have done projects about my classes/topics for his class, or used the resources in his class to work on projects for mine. #fcsvanguard
A1: coordinated our Matter unit with @BearSTEMlab...we read The Day the Crayons Quit in class, and Ss melted and created new crayons in STEM lab. #fcsvanguard

#fcsvanguard a1: formally: PLCs definitely, Admin meetings, grade level meetings
Informally: Just talking to people, meet them outside of the school setting for lunch on the weekend or during a break
Hi there! Denine Rowley from HBMS. A1 I teach SS and often collaborate with the ELA and Reading teachers to make sure I incorporate literacy standards. #fcsvanguard
In reply to
@jessie__downs, @FCSVanguard, @DrValBennett, @westlakelions
A1: I collaborate with my peers daily and weekly. As the EIP teacher I report how the students perform, standards and objectives the class are working on. #fcsvanguard
A1. Most of the time this is done through PD's, however we are in collaboration with first grade as a way to re mediate and accelerate our Kinder and First grade students. #fcsvanguard#vanpoints
A1- we collaborate between our STEM and humanities teams to create integrated units that encompass standards from all disciplines. We have also done this as a special area team- music, art and technology! #fcsvanguard
A1: we have collaborative committees that are made up of people from every different corner of the school! As a kinder teacher, i always appreciate getting to hear the perspectives from other GLs and special areas! #fcsvanguard
#FCSVanguard. I find that SS lends its self to collaboration well. There are many areas that we can carry over curriculum into and then working with other colleagues like our METI @MediaCenterNWES to help extend activities is always helpful!
I work with Kurt at AHS and our video projection teacher has also collaborated with the media center! He is always available and willing to help! #fcsvanguard
A1. Weāve done some small scale collaboration across teams in the past, but our 8th grade doesnāt have teams any more- need to find new ways to do this! #fcsvanguard
A1: We also participate in growth groups at AHS, with a member from each department to get new ways to look at problems or improve lessons. #fcsvanguard
A1: As a Reading teacher, I usually collaborate with other content teachers in order to find out what academic vocabulary I could integrate as well as find informational text relevant to those classes to teach reading skills. #fcsvanguard
In reply to
@jessie__downs, @FCSVanguard, @DrValBennett, @westlakelions
A1: Twitter has also been HUGE for my school this year! I love getting a glimpse into everyoneās classrooms! Itās such an easy way to share good teacher practices and I love seeing what my former students are doing #fcsvanguard
Teacher from Findley Oaks here
A1: i face to face collab with teachers in the school daily for all the needs of my students. We e-mail and share documents, but nothing beats meeting together in person. #fcsvanguard
A2: Teachers can improve their practice, which in turns benefits Ss. Ss can also see how multiple disciplines are interrelated, and each class is not an island. #fcsvanguard
A2: I think the students benefit from cross classroom collaboration because they can see how all of their subjects connect to create a community. They can use their strengths or interests to show me what they have learned in class. #fcsvanguard
A2: Students are able to truly understand how everything at school has a connection. It helps get a chance to reinforce the lesson multiple times! #fcsvanguard
A2 the benefits for the students are to show those cross curricular connections between the various subjects. It also helps them to make real world connections to their own learning. #fcsvanguard
A2: when Ss come and ask to check out nonfiction books it signals start of unit. I use that as opportunity to collaborate with Ts by offering resources, collaborative lesson, support in classroom #fcsvanguard
A2: The benefits to Ss are endless. Ss sometimes think "this doesn't apply to real life." Cross-collab is a way to show how all the pieces fit together. #fcsvanguard
@KateArthur on similar planning days. Humanities and STEM. That could be a way without teams. #fcsvanguard or plan a way for math and LA to Collab in someway
In case you missed it @jessie__downs posted Q2. Make sure to Response w A2. #fcsvanguard Also feel free to join us educators. You do not have to be in @FCSVanguard to join! We are discussing collaboration and would love to collaborate w you.
A2 Students were able to make connections between content areas. It helps students realize that what they are learning in meaningful, not just isolated fact learning. #fcsvanguard
I think cross curricular collabs are beneficial to both. It helps with integration of various subjects for the student. If they didn't catch it in math maybe they will in ELA. For the teacher it's a win, win. The teacher is exposed to different curriculum. #fcsvanguard
A2: Iām elem so we cover most of the gen ed curriculum, but working with specials like @AmyMagaroRubin and @mrsrobinsmusic help to support and enhance pretty much anything!! #fcsvanguard
Off topic: Excited to try out our digital learning day to make up the snow day! I tried last week, but was informed I could not require work on those days... (yet). #fcsvanguard
I always get happy when students make the connections between one class and another! It happens daily with IB and AP Spanish in my experience #fcsvanguard
A1: I have talked with homeroom teachers and other specials teachers to figure out if there were lessons/units that we could collaborate on.
#fcsvanguard
A2: For T's, gaining new perspective and a new lens. For S's, gaining a double-dip on content. The more they experience it, the better it sticks. #fcsvanguard
A2: my students and i both benefit when I collaborate with the experts in my building! Plus crosscurricular lessons are often the most fun to teach and the most engaging for kids #fcsvanguard
A2- Cross curricular activities just brings everything full circle. Itās important to see how what weāre teaching/theyāre learning can be applied in real life situations. #fcsvanguard
A2: The students need to acquire and practice literacy skills. We often share resources and come up with ideas for activities that the students can find engaging. I feel like this is just a benefit and a win win for all! #fcsvanguard
A2: Ss usually like the fact that collaboration mixes things up, a change from what they are used to, Ts enjoy the additional ideas, support. #fcsvanguard
A2- students are able to see how things connect and they are no longer segregated as life is not segregated into individual subjects. I work with a lot of amazing people, who have happened my eyes to different ways to teach! #fcsvanguard
A2. Watching conversations travel from one subject area to another was beautiful to watch. The way these connections build relationships and add meaning to learning was very rewarding.#fcsvanguard
A2: The collaboration amongst colleagues that benefit the students are the various teaching strategies and instructional practices that may appeal to those various learning styles that keep those students engaged. Thereās more than one way to skin a cat. #fcsvanguard
A2. For teachers we may not always reach our students in a way that someone else can. Therefore we are able to gain ideas that can improve instruction within our classrooms. This benefits students because it becomes differentiated based upon learning styles. #fcsvanguard
A2: We used the time to understand what each student was expected to know at each grade level. We talked about the level of rigor for each standard and the expectations of teachers. #fcsvanguard
A2: Part II: Cross-collab also gives Ts a chance to see students excel in other areas. Math might not be Ss strongest suit, but I can see him/her excel in writing...fosters relationships. #fcsvanguard
A1: Hi, I'm Katie Argentina and the Art teacher at Sweet Apple. There are so many great connections between art and math, science, social studies, and writing! I make natural connections daily and collaborate with classroom teachers when possible. #fcsvanguard
In reply to
@jessie__downs, @FCSVanguard, @DrValBennett, @westlakelions
As educators we are exemplars for our students. When we collaborate & students see this, it illustrates the benefits of collaboration for them and reinforces that expectation. For us, the sharing of instructional practices destroys complacency and encourages growth #fcsvanguard
This year my students created a teaching poster showing what the know about force and motion, some even brought in balls to help with visualization. THen we went to Kdgn and they got to teach about what they know. They ate it up! #FCSVanguard
Alright, time for Q3 which some people already touched on. What tech tools can help facilitate collaboration? Iāve gotta go with #onenote#fcsvanguard
A1 I would have to say Skype. I prefer face to face collaboration so this would be the best fit for me. Plus Skype gives me the opportunity to collaborate with teachers in various counties even states if it. #fcsvanguard
A2 Students' enthusiasm for engaging activities - and other teachers' success with those options - can encourage other teachers to venture out #fcsvanguard
A2: The students get deeper understanding of the subject and a new perspective of the content. Teachers get students who are excited to learn because they are confident with prior knowledge! #fcsvanguard
A3: My favorite is google classroom! Ss and Ts can collaborate through that surface and even different platforms connect easily. My students have been able to learn how to use the platform easily which is another win! #fcsvanguard

A3: PartII: I have also really loved Microsoft Teams that we have used for Vanguard! It is a great way to view information that you may have missed instead of emailing someone a question. #fcsvanguard
A2 I can see the amazing possibilities for my students! They would be able to make real world connections and also see how teachers can work together for their benefit!#fcsvanguard

Alright, time for Q3 which some people already touched on. What tech tools can help facilitate collaboration? Iāve gotta go with #onenote#fcsvanguard
A3: There are tons. We love One Note also. However, teachers can collaboratively work on tests or assignments in Microsoft Teams or Groups. #fcsvanguard
A3: Our teachers are big on Team Drive on Google Drive. For Ss...@Seesaw of course. And super easy to upload from different content areas and classes in one place. #fcsvanguard
A3: There are a plethora of tools that I like to use for collaboration. I love @MicrosoftTeams because itās like different social circles and encompasses most Office 365 apps. I think Iāve created two teams so far! Iām still learning but I love it! #fcsvanguard
Alright, time for Q3 which some people already touched on. What tech tools can help facilitate collaboration? Iāve gotta go with #onenote#fcsvanguard
A3- my favorite collab tool is One Note! Other great ones are Twitter, Padlet, and all the Office 365 tools. Canāt tell you the number of times Iāve co-written lesson plans using Excel and Word! #fcsvanguard
A3- Flipgrid! Iāve done a mystery google hangout before and the kids asked questions to another class to figure out what school they were from. It was awesome! You can create an Escape the Room in One Note too. So fun!#fcsvanguard
Alright, time for Q3 which some people already touched on. What tech tools can help facilitate collaboration? Iāve gotta go with #onenote#fcsvanguard
A3: Part III: For teachers to get resources and ideas, Pinterest, Instagram, and my favorite (and most expensive) Is TPT! Gotta love finding something already made any incredibly useful! #fcsvanguard
#fcsvanguard Yes for the IG! Straight flexin lol! A picture is work 1000 words! Instagram is great also to collaborate and do almost like a daily blog and you do not have to write too much either.
Alright, time for Q3 which some people already touched on. What tech tools can help facilitate collaboration? Iāve gotta go with #onenote#fcsvanguard
Letās see what yāall have for Q4. Weāve already talked about how we are already collaborating but what are some potential collaborations that you think would work well at your school? #fcsvanguard

A4: I love what I saw @webbbridge do for an end of the year project in 6th grade! The students created a "robot" and it was involved in EVERY class. Math (surface area), ELA (writing its background), Spanish (translator)-I could do something like that at my school! #fcsvanguard
Q4: Being a music teacher, I know that collaborations between myself and homeroom teachers can be fun thing for the kids. In the case of math, there are songs and games that I can use to help with certain topics covered by the homeroom teacher. #fcsvanguard
Letās see what yāall have for Q4. Weāve already talked about how we are already collaborating but what are some potential collaborations that you think would work well at your school? #fcsvanguard
A4- we already do so much! Between STEM and humanities/ all special areas (music, art, tech and PE), and vertically! Iād love to see more TAG to Gen Ed. How can we reach those high performance students who donāt qualify? #fcsvanguard
A4 My children had to do an collab assignment to plan, map out, and budget a trip through Europe through 10 cities. I'd love to try it. It involved math, science, social studies, and ELA. #fcsvanguard
Letās see what yāall have for Q4. Weāve already talked about how we are already collaborating but what are some potential collaborations that you think would work well at your school? #fcsvanguard
A4: using science and social studies standards in a reading classroom is a great way to integrate the standards while teaching reading strategies #fcsvanguard
A4: My role, as principal, is to model, support, encourage, then create time and space. Also, celebrate successes AND fail forward moments. #fcsvanguard
A1: Since I teach lower elementary level, I teach all disciplines, but my team does plan together to try to incorporate science and soc studies into reading and writing. #fcsvanguard

#fcsvanguard a4: Recently we had our STREAM week at school. This intertwined STEAM w Reading at the foundation of everything. There are many things and ideas that can be done with!
Q3 #onenote is such a useful till. It allows us to be able to compile notes, grades and information our whole team needs at any moment. You donāt have to worry about losing another Post-it for the next grade level meeting #fcsvanguard
A4: Iām thinking some interdisciplinary collaborations would be perfect for our ocee tweet up, @CPHTechnology@kstephens622@bboyajand2nd. People could share their best ideas and ask each other for ideas. I have a vision! #fcsvanguard
Letās see what yāall have for Q4. Weāve already talked about how we are already collaborating but what are some potential collaborations that you think would work well at your school? #fcsvanguard
A4: Since we have Techie Tuesday's once a month. I think our team could use a collaboration site similar to how we use Twitter Chats. Pose various interdisciplinary questions and have teachers to respond. #fcsvanguard
A4 I think a small PBL unit that every class & grade can participate in would be great. Possibly getting our school garden to flourish again. #fcsvanguard
Letās see what yāall have for Q4. Weāve already talked about how we are already collaborating but what are some potential collaborations that you think would work well at your school? #fcsvanguard
A4 some possible interdisciplinary opportunities at my school would be collaborating with the music teacher on our current fractions unit! Thank TB! #fcsvanguard
A4 With digital learning day pilot imminent, hoping for collaboration opportunities all around. Meeting with Health/PE teacher tomorrow 1st period #fcsvanguard
Q4: social studies, reading, and media center specials...great way to get teachers and students engaged in learning social studies standards. #fcsvanguard

As they are both electives, students don't have to take either. And APHG is open to all grade levels. However, every year I speak to students who talk about how the topics overlap sooooo much. #fcsvanguard
A4 We already do a lot of things on our grade level. Iād love to branch out and do some interdisciplinary things with our students and other grade levels to get multiple levels of students collaborating on a bigger project #fcsvanguard
A4 Science and ELA.....Doing more writing assignments with a Science Focus. Also, Reading and Writing in Math. This is major as most students do not understand the need to write in Math. Collaborating with other grade levels would be very beneficial to Kindergarten #fcsvanguard
I like to think out of the box- English and Physics. Collaborations are everywhere and can happen amongst nearly all disciplines. We have To be brave enough to go there. @jessie__downs#fcsvanguard
A4: I could see a great math and ELA writing workshop happening. We already had a great I do, We do, You Do, led by our Spanish & Reading teacher that covered all subjects. #fcsvanguard
A2: working with primary grades as a lit coach we are always trying to find ways to expose students to various subject areas through literacy with a hold tight schedule. We have found that we can incorporate science and social studies into our guided reading blocks. #fcsvanguard
A4 When I help plan #highqualityPL frameworks at schools, Asking how teachers could use the knowledge and skills across curriculums for better student outcomes #fcsvanguard
Our @oceeotters music teacher is great about integrating our kindergarten social studies content into music class! My kids LOVE performing their songs for me. #fcsvanguard
A4: I would say writing across the various content areas. Writing should be integrated across all content areas. As a former Social Studies teacher, I would have students do writing activities such as rewriting history such as Lincolnās assassination. #fcsvanguard
A4: Our Vanchise is sponsoring the Public Relations Club and we are seeking to connect with the various content areas to support building our school brand. #fcsvanguard
Letās see what yāall have for Q4. Weāve already talked about how we are already collaborating but what are some potential collaborations that you think would work well at your school? #fcsvanguard
A5: In our building, we are generally sorted by department. My whole hall is social studies (almost). It's hard to meet with other teachers on other halls during the day. #fcsvanguard
A4: an example when students had to escape a Virtual Escape Room using OneNote. Integrated math, ela, and social studies. Thank u @DarrenClayEDU the collaborative part is seeing how i could use OneNote in a different way #MSFTEDU
A5: Getting other teacher buy in sometimes. Other times, just the time it might take to create if it has not been done before. But it is WORTH it! My students created a song with @EndicottSpot one year on garage band and we produced a music video for them! #fcsvanguard So fun!
A4- Virtual field trips are awesome. I use Padlet a lot with my class and the kids can post I see, I think, I wonder or glows and grows after they review the work of another student. I feel like with Padlet the possibilities are endless. #fcsvanguard
Time constraints and trying to teach all standards and measuring mastery with younger kids can be a struggle. Younger kiddos require more time to read and write and produce work so we must choose the crossover carefully. #FCSVanguard
A5: Time- that is always the big one. Also maybe buy in- having the willingness to step outside your comfort zone to collaborate with someone whose content is not your own may be scary for some. #fcsvanguard
A5: I would say that one major hurdle to collaboration would be the lack of time to sit face to face. However one solution would be all of the tech tools used for collaboration. So... I guess there really isnāt a hurdle for me. š¤ #fcsvanguard
A4: I have a number of talented educators at my School that are able to create a song to tie into just about any subject matter. Adding hand and/or body movements to go along definitely keeps the students engaged #fcsvanguard
A5: the biggest hurdle is TIME. Our GLs have common planning, but you have to carve out time after school to have face-to-face collaboration. Luckily, Tech makes it easier to collaborate on your own schedule! #fcsvanguard
A5: A couple of hurdles that I have come across is deciding on what the focus might be and timing to make the collaboration meaningful and beneficial. #fcsvanguard
A5 Teachers overwhelmed with demands on their time, especially after missing so many days this year. Easier to stay with tried and true to prepare. Hoping testing before the tests will be modified. In MS, working around EOC and EOG is iffy. #fcsvanguard
A5. Time.. yes, but not just to meet and plan, but to āfit it inā the curriculum/pacing of the school year. These awesome learning experiences almost always get pushed until āafter testingā in May... #fcsvanguard
A5 Besides the obvious answer, it takes a lot of coordination to be able to align subjects well enough for the students to gain something in all subjects and also for all the parts to be high quality, valuable learning #fcsvanguard
Hurdles will always be time, difference of opinions related to subject matter needs, and specific expectations about what the final product, idea or collaborative decisions will look like at the conclusion of the process. #fcsvanguard
A5. Taking the time to collaborate with fidelity. Making time to collaborate with other grade levels & not only your team. Issues may also arise when teachers are not familiar with a particular curriculum & have no idea how to mesh with that of what they know. #fcsvanguard
Since weāve had a chance to identify our challenges *cough* TIME *cough* *cough* what are some things we can do to overcome the hurdles to cross curricular collaboration?
#fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard

#fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
A6: I am a firm believer in starting small. Collaborating is not just one person's ideas, but the truth is that everyone has to bend a little. #fcsvanguard
A6: Just find snippets of time to steal & donāt give up! Use tech tools to communicate with others & keep the line of communication open! #FCSVanguard
Since weāve had a chance to identify our challenges *cough* TIME *cough* *cough* what are some things we can do to overcome the hurdles to cross curricular collaboration?
#fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
A5: I have to agree with TIME and the WILLINGNESS too! I could also see differences of skill sets for teachers and what they can really do and feel comfortable doing. Different skill sets as well as with the students could factor in as well. #fcsvanguard
A6: I find that encouraging my teammates to use Office365 to collaborate often helps get them on board. Also, showcasing successful collaborative projects and setting an expectation that collab is a must. Having admin support is major. #fcsvanguard
Since weāve had a chance to identify our challenges *cough* TIME *cough* *cough* what are some things we can do to overcome the hurdles to cross curricular collaboration?
#fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
A6: Utilize free time when appropriate to plan and figure something out. To get other Ts buy in, use students to convince them to collaborate. Because the students are excited and showing interest, they will be more excited to give it a go! #fcsvanguard
Set a specific time each month. Also plan for vertical teams. At my school the reading/writing vertical team meets once a month to collaborate and share ideas. #fcsvanguard
A6 as tech "leaders" we can lead by doing. use the tech we love our students to collab with and use it with our peers #fcsvanguardhttps://t.co/fkrwEDaBp2
Since weāve had a chance to identify our challenges *cough* TIME *cough* *cough* what are some things we can do to overcome the hurdles to cross curricular collaboration?
#fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
A6: For those who mentioned time as a hurdle, I would suggest utilizing online collaboration tools such as @MicrosoftTeams. Theyāll allow you to video conference if you need to see your colleagues and work on documents online together as well. #fcsvanguard
A6: We try to maximize our time on RFF days to really allow for that collaboration. I think also using a communication tool like @MicrosoftTeams allows you to still collaborate, but at everyone's pace- when they have the time. #fcsvanguard
A6: Iām not sure how to answer this. Add more time to the day? š The Ts would have to make it a priority. Collaboration can be fun, and it can increase moral amungst the staff. #fcsvanguard
A6 start with 1 person. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Starting small, getting comfortable and then expanding from there. #fcsvanguard
Since weāve had a chance to identify our challenges *cough* TIME *cough* *cough* what are some things we can do to overcome the hurdles to cross curricular collaboration?
#fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
For comfort- finding a small group willing to try it out and lead the way. This will later lead to more buy in. Which will in turn help others realize it helps with the time issue because the conceptualization comes faster with integrated relevance. #fcsvanguard
A6: co-teaching the lesson(s), everyone likes extra help! Sharing responsibility for prep, showing up with lots of ideas/resources when planning, and chocolate. #fcsvanguard
Since weāve had a chance to identify our challenges *cough* TIME *cough* *cough* what are some things we can do to overcome the hurdles to cross curricular collaboration?
#fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
A6- We have an awesome admin team that purposely creates a schedule so we are able to have collaborative planning as a team every day. We have weekly PLC and also have extended PLC from time to time as well. #fcsvanguard
A6 More PLC time designated specifically for interdisciplinary learning with the teacher resources we already have in our school and county- learn from each other then spend time planning it out! #babysteps#fcsvanguard
A6 P2: finding ways to make teachers realize that working together can bring new ideas and actually make work easier. Also trying to do it during your given time together so people donāt have to do extra work at home! #fcsvanguard
Since weāve had a chance to identify our challenges *cough* TIME *cough* *cough* what are some things we can do to overcome the hurdles to cross curricular collaboration?
#fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
#FCSVanguard I am the Math Coach but I work closely with my Literacy Coach & CST to plan and integrate concepts in all subject areas. When the teachers become familiar with one concept its easy to apply in the difference subject areas for those who teach multiple subjects

Yesssss. Sometimes designating meeting time for that is the push people need. Many people have great intentions and just have a lot going on. #fcsvanguard
Since itās getting late, Iāve got one last question for everyone. Q7: how can you (or are you) collaborating outside of your building? #fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
#fcsvanguard A2 The benefi is that the students use the techniques or strategies continuously to become familiar and able to apply the effective strategies in different scenarios & are success across content areas
A7: Vanguard events are the best time to meet and collaborate outside the classroom. Itās how I met @MrsShurbutt 2 years ago and weāve kept in touch since! #fcsvanguard
A7. Collaboration can take place in any form, so participating or volunteering at events are great ways to meet and collaborate with other individuals. #fcsvanguard
A7: I meet with other TAG teachers every other month and we discuss collaboration strategies, ideas & lesson. Also, the EdCamps are a great place to collaborate too. #fcsvanguard
Since itās getting late, Iāve got one last question for everyone. Q7: how can you (or are you) collaborating outside of your building? #fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
A7 being a member of Vanguard is a great way to collaborate and get amazing ideas. Twitter, instagram, Pinterest, TPT are all great ways to collaborate. #fcsvanguard
Since itās getting late, Iāve got one last question for everyone. Q7: how can you (or are you) collaborating outside of your building? #fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
A4: I would love to help interested teachers be comfortable integrating more art (not just coloring sheets) into their lessons! Would be great if we all had time to meet so I could know more of what they are working on and make those suggestions. #fcsvanguard
Since itās getting late, Iāve got one last question for everyone. Q7: how can you (or are you) collaborating outside of your building? #fcsvanguard#FCSvanguard
