    A1: I feel like we do a really good job of using our coaches (PBL, STEM, math) to collaborate with and learn from. They also bring ideas from other grade levels to us since we canā€™t always go see other teachers teaching. #fcsvanguard

    #FCSVanguard. I find that SS lends its self to collaboration well. There are many areas that we can carry over curriculum into and then working with other colleagues like our METI @MediaCenterNWES to help extend activities is always helpful!

    A2: I think the students benefit from cross classroom collaboration because they can see how all of their subjects connect to create a community. They can use their strengths or interests to show me what they have learned in class. #fcsvanguard

    I think cross curricular collabs are beneficial to both. It helps with integration of various subjects for the student. If they didn't catch it in math maybe they will in ELA. For the teacher it's a win, win. The teacher is exposed to different curriculum. #fcsvanguard

    Q4: Being a music teacher, I know that collaborations between myself and homeroom teachers can be fun thing for the kids. In the case of math, there are songs and games that I can use to help with certain topics covered by the homeroom teacher. #fcsvanguard

    As they are both electives, students don't have to take either. And APHG is open to all grade levels. However, every year I speak to students who talk about how the topics overlap sooooo much. #fcsvanguard

    A2: working with primary grades as a lit coach we are always trying to find ways to expose students to various subject areas through literacy with a hold tight schedule. We have found that we can incorporate science and social studies into our guided reading blocks. #fcsvanguard

    Time constraints and trying to teach all standards and measuring mastery with younger kids can be a struggle. Younger kiddos require more time to read and write and produce work so we must choose the crossover carefully. #FCSVanguard

    A5: I have to agree with TIME and the WILLINGNESS too! I could also see differences of skill sets for teachers and what they can really do and feel comfortable doing. Different skill sets as well as with the students could factor in as well. #fcsvanguard

    A6: I find that encouraging my teammates to use Office365 to collaborate often helps get them on board. Also, showcasing successful collaborative projects and setting an expectation that collab is a must. Having admin support is major. #fcsvanguard

    A6: For those who mentioned time as a hurdle, I would suggest utilizing online collaboration tools such as @MicrosoftTeams. Theyā€™ll allow you to video conference if you need to see your colleagues and work on documents online together as well. #fcsvanguard

    A6: We try to maximize our time on RFF days to really allow for that collaboration. I think also using a communication tool like @MicrosoftTeams allows you to still collaborate, but at everyone's pace- when they have the time. #fcsvanguard

    #FCSVanguard I am the Math Coach but I work closely with my Literacy Coach & CST to plan and integrate concepts in all subject areas. When the teachers become familiar with one concept its easy to apply in the difference subject areas for those who teach multiple subjects
