Hello, #WeAreWayne! I am Adam Pearish, from the Office of College & Career Readiness. I went to @BallState and am excited to talk all things #FAFSA and #FinancialAid this evening!

A2 With my daughters, the first time was difficult, but we made it through and glad we did. Asked for help from school which helped. Without it, paying for college would have been difficult! #wearewayne
A2: Being the first person in my family to go to college, my parents didn’t know how to navigate the #financialaid process. There weren’t many resources in rural Indiana, so we struggled through it and were able to figure it out...but it was NOT easy! #wearewayne

A3: @BDSeniors19 the answer to @WendySkibinski Q3 is FAAAALSE!!! The more #scholarships you apply for, the higher your chances of receiving them. I know what you’re thinking - “but it has an essay” - EVEN BETTER! The hard work will pay off!!! 💰💰💰 #wearewayne

A3: False... as long as you can get guidance towards ones that are good options. Ben Davis always directs students to local scholarships well as others that students have found success with. This helps! And it can't hurt to try! #wearewayne

False. I've known so many high school students who have won a scholarship that they never expected to win. All they did was apply. And often the application didn't take much time. #wearewayne (I have no affiliation with Wayne Twp Schools)
A4: Get your FASFA in as soon as possible and understand everything you are submitting. Any mistake has the potential to reduce the amount of $$$ you are rewarded. #wearewayne#gen2108
A4: ✅ Apply for scholarships ✅ Check your college/university’s website. They may have scholarships specific to your major. ✅ is there an error on your #FAFSA? Submit a correction. This will result in an accurate #financialaid award letter. #wearewayne
A2: The anxiety of getting all of the needed information was overwhelming at times. It seemed like a mountain of paperwork to my teenage eyes. #wearewayne
A3 Scholarships are worth it. Both daughters received scholarships which helped a lot! One received several small ones and the other one large one. Helps a lot! #wearewayne
