Yesterday I got cards, a bouquet of flowers, a long stemmed silk rose and homemade cookies for the class from my Ss!
Pick me-ups this week: deep convo re: 9/11; incredible fortitude during MAPS testing; and awesome acts of student citizenship.
Arguably, Ss often teach you the most through their nonverbal & body language. What they show over what they tell

I teach science- kids remind me daily the excitement of "Discovery" & finding A's to Q's that are important to the learner

My Ss teach me to be real with others. They are! They also teach me that there is excitement in everything we do if we look for it.

I see a lot of former Ss because of siblings and I am teaching the KG child of one of my former second graders. Always get updates!
