Welcome to the October 30th #ETCoaches#ISTE Twitter Chat. Today's topic is Project management skills for all! Start with a small introduction of who you are and where are you at/from!
Q2 Project Based Work! Provide opportunities for students to collaborate on group work, model effective communication and sharing the effort. #ETCoaches
Hi John nice to see you here! Love kanbanchi but they moved away from the free version. Do you have any other recommendations that are still free? #ETCoaches
A3: Haven’t tried with students (but inspired to now), but have project management / change leadership strategies for leaders https://t.co/GP9ivgSmk6#ETcoach
Q4: Reflect and share. Based on the responses to the last two questions, are PM skills different in teachers vs. students? If yes, how? If no, why? #ETCoaches
😀Team Management: Communication in a team is essential in a team of educators. Not only will it clarify the goal but it will also help with the group coordination. Most of my classes have required group projects that highlight the importance of task delegation.
As a classroom teacher, if my students perform poorly on an assessment, I review, reteach, and reasse as needed. As #etcoaches, we need to do the same. Where is my staff at? What can we look at again? How can we check to see where we are now? Trust the cycle. #edchat
Q5: https://t.co/zcfLph7qVK shares "The world runs on projects… Managing and leading projects are essential life skills, learning skills and career skills". Do you agree or not with this statement? Why? #ETCoaches
Q6: There are 4 different types of #learning projects (Inquiry-Design-Debate-Expression) that can take place in a learning environment. Which are the types you find challenging to apply at your setting and why? #ETCoaches
