Community engagement and involvement means that we engage the awesome things that are happening right in the community! Use your barbershops, churches, corner stores, have a movie night, be consistent as a teacher! Change strategies! #cuesnews#EdCampWake#VanceCoProud#hottopic
Last session at #edcampwake community & parent engagement. I think that a great step w/this is to build relationships w/students & members of the community, even those who do not have school aged children. Start small watch it grow.
To me, #kindersCAN is waaay more than a hashtag. It's foundational. It's about breaking down barriers to S learning opps, such as T comfort level, limitations, mindsets, & signing in to devices & #gsuiteedu, for example. ❤ learning from @ChrisTuttell at #edcampwake. #wonderwake
