A1: We use our high-tendency blocking schemes and put the skill kids and playmakers in positions to make the play. For us, its not so much the play as it is the players involved #TXHSFBCHAT
A1: For several years, we used a swinging gate concept that had multiple options. And then most of the rest of the time, we just ran our regular red zone offense on 2pts. #TXHSFBCHAT
A2: Went for 2 every time for 3 or 4 seasons. Figured the math was in our favor (50%+ effectiveness) and the competitive advantage was well worth it. #TXHSFBCHAT
A2: I don't believe in chasing points, so I would say wait until you have to. At the end of a game, if you're the visitor and you've got some momentum, go get the win! #TXHSFBCHAT
A3: I like the empty set if you have a QB who can run. To me the empty set in that setting forces the D to play instead of load up and shoot gaps. Every skill kid on offense has to be accounted for #TXHSFBCHAT
A2) Went for 2 and the win, in our quarter final game this year. It was an easy call, the whole staff was on board. I don't know if its the right call every time but I that night it was. #TXHSFBCHAT
A4: One of the biggest issues is getting kids to lineup immediately after the score in order to take advantage of the D no lining up properly. The kids must be disciplined to score and lineup. Celebrate after #TXHSFBCHAT
A2: It depends how the game is going and whether or not you have had success in short yardage. I was loosing and came back I would def go for it! #txhsfbchat
A5)Just like the gate, get lined up and go. If you are a go for 2 team or you feel you can win it with 2, I'd think you know the call or have it on the call sheet. #TXHSFBCHAT
A2: Haven’t been very efficient kicking so we go for two most of the time. I like the added pressure on defense after just giving up a score. #TXHSFBCHAT
