Hi Iām Brian, Iāve been using Go and bringing it into my classroom since the day it came out. I have a handful for kids to use now and working on more #ARVRinEDU
Hello Stacy from Virginia here. We are a 9-12 school using HTC Vive for experimental learning, assessments, and community building. Just starting to figure out how we want to use OculusGo #ARVRinEDU
#ARVRinEDU Brooks Dougherty, science educator in CA. Limited experience w Oculus but interested in cool, low cost ways science educators can incorporate VR in to #NGSS instruction.
@TabaldoOnTech
Gabe here from Santa Barbara! Most of my experience with the Go is with the Oculus Browser app and helping beginners create WebVR sites that work on the Go! (Shameless plug: https://t.co/eb4IWcwG6z) #arvrinedu
A1 I firmly believe in the importance of giving kids the opportunity to experience and find meaningful uses for emerging technologies. It has also allowed them to experience immersive lessons previously unknown and we are just scratching the surface #ARVRinEDU
Iām excited to be awake and not recording anything.
We have several projects in the works Iām trying to put together, also looking into using it for VR presentations and class connections #ARVRinEDU
#ARVRinEDU I'd be interested in cost and what it takes to get the Go in the classroom. Could this be a barrier, or "reason to not have" ?
@TabaldoOnTech
There are tons of opportunities. As I acquire more devices over time I can use them for more things in class. Last weekend we helped kids experience the isolation of living in space via mission ISS for our First LEGO competition #ARVRinedu

I like it, but I want to see more. In general we need more 9-12 humanities content. Itās not as immersive as the vive but more so than cardboard and doesnāt require a stand alone machine. #ARVRinEDU
If the world yet to come as well. Someone in their generation will take these technologies and and use it to change the world. If they never see it, it might never happen, or maybe it could have been them! #ARVRinEDU
Q3 The Wonderful You app is super intense. Watch this baby form from conception to birth. AMAZING! How would your students respond to this experience? #ARVRinEDUhttps://t.co/sGiMnEJYKP
It's quite affordable. The cost is $199 for 32 GB or $249 for the 64 GB device. It's connected by WiFi so it doesn't require cords or computers to use. #ARVRinEDU
Yes I know there are times my kids like to play the āscaryā scene games. They are all set up to dummy emails and I have access to each Go from my phone. As I get more though Iāll need a more efficient way to monitor them #ARVRinEDU
Are you all charging it while you view? That does seem to heat it up quickly. #ARVRinEDU@oculus is it dangerous for the #OculusGo to heat up like that with students?

Definitely think we can capture their attention with these experiences. When I bring the #OculusGo to #ARVRinEDU trainings, it's in use constantly (until it dies).
Q4 Now letās see what you think of the app we all know and love, @CoSpaces_EDU. Did you know you can view completed work in the Oculus Go? Do you think it would be beneficial for it to be available on the #OculusGo and why? #ARVRinEDUhttps://t.co/jx7Z7Ledvk
Q2 I really like the Looking Glass app for the Oculus Go. You can travel back in time to a room in a specific time era and explore the music, writings and more. How can these experiences support our learners? https://t.co/DOBzhu4QZ6
I have 4. They are set up under dummy emails on my school domain. Those all send back to me and my phone.
I know @AmandaFoxSTEM had more and had some systems for managing them #ARVRinedu

I've downloaded quite a bit content and I've not run into needing more space yet, but now I'm using the photo and video capture, so it's filling up quicker. #ARVRinEDU

A4, students being able to experience there creation in VR allows them to go through the iteration process. Build, test, build, text, etc. Soooo valuable #arvrinedu

Q5 No doubt, Apollo 11 was my favorite app on the #OculusGo! While I did pay $4.99 to download it, it was worth every penny. How could this type of experience affect history instruction? #ARVRinEDUhttps://t.co/wZARNXaUoM
Itās 3DOF so you canāt walk around, but the device is independent. The Oculus Quest coming this spring will be 6DOF and fully independent #arvrinedu
Definitely more feasible than the Vive in a classroom considering space, quantity, chords. I do agree that more content is needed, but it's really starting to roll in. #ARVRinEDU

Iāve got plenty of phone operated headsets, but there is an incredible app tour of Anne Frankās house with descriptions of everything you interact with taken from her diary #arvrinedu
Full disclosure #ARVRinEDU chats are really awesome and showcase such cool štools I sometimes forget to chat because I am hastily downloading and playing. š¤Ŗ#thanks Jaime #somanyideas

There are some interactions that allow students to create. I like the problem solving in the Pet Lab because you can create many types of monsters and it starts to get really complex. #ARVRinEDU
3 Degrees of Freedom vs 6. With a Vive or Rift you can walk through the VR experience and your perspective changes. Walk with a Go on and you just crash into things in the real world š #ARVRinEdu
Again, the Anne Frank house tour is free and awesome, loved Star Chart which I paid for too. It gives your students a whole different perspective on what places are like. Instead of seeing them on a screen they are taken there in immersive experiences #ARVRinedu

Itās pretty cool. I have some things to try out in there soon. I want to try and build some worlds with the purpose of having them playable in Go. #ARVRinEdu
That's something I've never thought of. Thank you for sharing that. I could have listed many many more, but they're coming in like a flood, so it's hard to keep up. #ARVRinEDU
#ARVRinEDU Hello from Texas! A little late to the party but looking forward to read and learn from you all. Currently checking opportunities to align #OculusGo with my future ESL and Bilingual Education pre-service teachers.
