A1: Is what you enjoy to do. Happiness is when you have found a center that makes you smile every day. You can find joy in many things you do and when you find joy, it makes a difference in what you can do and how you find happiness. #LeadLAP
Hi Folks! I’m Mariah from Pennsylvania. I am a middle school principal...The song on my playlist right now that brings me joy is #ThisIsMe from @GreatestShowman! I am excited to learn with you all today! #LeadLAP
It's a beautiful Saturday morning here in Va.Beach #LeadLAP family! Let's get started! I'm Akilah, new Admin this year. My go to song that gives me instant joy is Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling"
#leadlap A1 joy is tougher than happiness. Joy is the ability to be grateful and present in times that aren't perfect to choose the good. Happiness seems to be more situational. Imo #joy is a choice.
A1: Joy is that expression of uncontainable passion that radiates from your soul! It brightens your perspective and allows you to see the world as it was meant to be! #leadlap
Good morning!! So glad to join in today to talk about leading with JOY! ❤️ Allyson Apsey, elementary principal in Michigan and the author of #Path2Serendipity A song that brings me instant joy is https://t.co/q8PGNt3TUL#LeadLAP
A1 #leadlap Joy to me is a deep seated, total immersion of contentment no matter what else is going on. My husband and children are part of that joy. My faith brings me joy. Reading brings me joy. Being kind to others...joy!
Joy is a feeling that others can actually see. It is a combination of a pure sense of happiness and peace. When I see others experience true joy it fills my heart. #leadlap
Joy is not temporary. It isn’t conditional like happiness. It is a belief that as long as you are operating in your purpose, regardless of circumstances, you can be content. #LeadLAP
I need your help. My principal is looking for an inspirational video clip that motivates teachers. That has the idea of what it takes to be a champion, but he doesn't want 1000 sports metaphors... Kinda tricky. #leadupchat#leadlap
Hi All, Marley, Digital Learning Coach from NC. Jumping in a bit late. Hope everyone is great. My song to play when i want some instant joy is “Walkin’ on Sunshine #LeadLAP
#leadlap I think of joy as the initial excitement you feel when you see an old friend, hear your favorite song, see the light bulb go on for a student. It's the little moments that make your day. Like the song "Little Wonders" by Matchbox 20.
A1: Joy = the feeling of pleasure & satisfaction when someone else (or I) have done something rewarding, beneficial, exciting, risky, helpful, etc... It's a feeling #Leadlap
A1: I think “happiness” is more often reactionary, attached to a specified moment or event. “Joy” reflects more of an overall mindset, and serves as an approach to situations rather than a response to them. #LeadLAP
A1: Joy refers to elation, that feeeling that a S feels when understanding a difficult concept or making an unexpected discovery. That feeling when a T has designed a lesson that inspires Ss to understand or discover. That feeling when learning takes place. #Synergy#LeadLAP
Good morning! Anything Michael Jackson and Kirk Franklin! As I sit in the hair salon this morning, we are listening to gospel! Totally uplifting! #leadlap
YES! This is an excellent idea!! Our school plays music outside in the morning for kids - and now I'll have a great playlist for the beginning of the year! #LeadLAP#alwaysgreatideas
Oh that’s such a great tune - we need a #leadlap playlist of beats that energize, pep up the room, remind us that joy comes from music and it’s baked into our DNA :)
A1: Joy is different for everyone. Our children growing up, a first date, a good meal, song or poem. It’s our vision of happiness our contentment. #LeadLAP
A1 Here in Guernsey our new curriculum headline is "Joyous and Purposeful Learning" If children can enjoy their learning they achieve. Whatever is the right level for them. #leadlap
A1: JOY is something you feel regardless of your circumstances. It is my #oneword this year!! JOY is something no one can take from us because it is rooted deep. I can be sad about a circumstance but still feel JOY. #chooseJOY#LeadLAP
A1: My mom used to sing this: "J-O-Y, J-O-Y, J-O-Y spells JOY. Jesus first, Yourself last and Others in between." Even though I'm not religious, helping others is what brings me joy (yourself last). #LeadLAP
A1: Joy is in your soul. It is happiness and contentment and purpose rolled into one. It eminates from your being and lifts up everyone around you. #LeadLAP
A1. Joy is something that’s in your heart and soul. It’s satisfying, unquantifiable, and spiritual. Joy touches you in a deep place and if you have it, others can see it. It’s more than happiness because it has an eternal factor and happiness can be temporary. #LeadLAP
A1: Joy refers to elation, that feeeling that a S feels when understanding a difficult concept or making an unexpected discovery. That feeling when a T has designed a lesson that inspires Ss to understand or discover. That feeling when learning takes place. #Synergy#LeadLAP
A2: My family - always fill my heart up. I could have the worst day and my niece and nephew turn it around in a second! They are there no matter what. My friends (who are pretty much like family)! #lovethemall#peoplematternotthings#LeadLAP
WE are officially #Joysistas now Marci! JOY is my armor and it's what I carry and feel in spite of anything negative that comes my way. It's my ONE Word too! #LeadLAP
Yes! Happiness is pretty fickle. Someone can say one thing and upset your happy feeling. I have been taught by faith the JOY that I have the world didn’t give it to me and the world can’t take it away. #LeadLAP

A2: My daughters are incredible and seeing them love and care for one another brings me joy. Outside of that - music always speaks to my soul. #LeadLAP
A2. We have lots of new teachers in yr 1-2 and veteran teachers that are connecting together, leading PD - they are changing our culture to “what’s best for kids”! That gives me great joy . #leadlap
A1 joy comes from the buzz of young people at work and play - what if smiles in a school’s classes and hallways were our metric? @irasocol author of @TimelessLrng once asked. #LeadLAP
Sliding in late (I’ll spare you my fave GIF)

A1 Joy runs deep. It’s from the heart. I think it’s that feeling when purpose and passion collide. #leadlap
A2: Helping others in my household brings me joy. Feeding my cat, even though she wakes me up brings joy, as she later sits on my lap purring. #LeadLAP
A2: I don’t usually share personal info too often but it would have to be a very special man that has come into my life over the past few months. #LeadLAP

Learning is indeed the result of active exploration & discovery, not standardization via narrow curricula, scripted lessons, & State-endorsed tests. Discovery isn't the direct result of memorization & skill drill. Skills are the foundations to support creative projects. #LeadLAP

A3 early morning I'm usually alone so coffee, exercise, a good podcast, and music all bring me joy and when I have the time, a little adventure! Nothing like starting the day with a good bike ride:) #LeadLAP
#LeadLAP I start my day with a meditation. It centres and calms me and allows me to see and enjoy so many more of the little (and big) reasons to be joyful throughout the day. 😊
A3: Prepare the lessons the day before. This allows me to walk the halls for high 5s hugs and How are you doing? and What did you have for dinner? and What book have you been reading? to dozens of Ss every morning. A stroll through the counselors’ office is now routine. #LeadLAP

#LeadLap A3b Basically, in those quiet moments (kids permitting) between waking and rising, give thanks for another day of life the opportunity to share love/joy with others.. reflect on yesterday and review today’s plans.
Q3 I like to start my day by reading the daily stoic by @RyanHoliday doing a 10 min headspce meditation, and then a journal entry that lists 3 things I am grateful for and 1 priority to achomplish in 4 areas, hone , work, health, personal #leadlap
A3: I take some time for myself either reading, exercising, or listening to music. I think that time helps me be a better me for my family and my school family. #LeadLAP
Jake-this is a powerful answer. I would love for new Tt to read this...Preparing ahead of time cultivates time for what really matters-leading with #JOY#LeadLAP

As the dad to six kids, my morning quiet time and reading are crucial to navigating the rest of my day. I used to try and get “extra sleep” but if I don’t have that quiet time, I’m on the struggle bus by the end of the day. #LeadLAP

Joy during the school day comes at drop off, high fives and hugs in the halls, being in classrooms, playing at recess Basically anywhere where the children are #leadlap
A3: I also write in my gratitude journal each morning. Gratitude enhances joy! 💚 #LeadLAP

I’m not always fully prepared before I arrive to school, but I’m always out of my room and in the halls 30 minutes before school starts. My daily routine mentioned above takes 20 minutes out of my morning. The relationships built in those 20 minutes are timeless. #LeadLAP

Yes! So true! Being an educator parent has completely changed my perspective of so many things in EDU! Those morning moments are SO important! #leadlap
A4: Spending time in the classroom and seeing what the Ss are doing and talking with them about it always seems to bring joy back into focus for me. That's why we do what we do after all! #LeadLAP
A4: Without a doubt joy at school (even during fuzzy times) can be found in my Ss and peers. If joy cannot be found in a single day you have to look deeper, its there, have to find it - no matter how small! #LeadLAP
#LeadLap A4a I find joy from the messages educators and others share on twitter. Someone like @jesush1979 sharing a photo of his class making; that group “We escaped!” selfie; a motivational statement agains a hazy beach background +
A4. I find joy supporting kids like before school, lunch, visiting classrooms, going to games. Seeing our kids have success reminds me why I do what I do. #LeadLAP
A4. I find joy through thanking others - Ss for being engaged, Ts for creating amazing learning experiences for Ss, my team for always being there and pushing me to be my best #LeadLAP
A4 I like to take a walk in the halls and pop my head into other classes to see what others are doing. Getting ideas from other teachers that I can use makes me happy. #Leadlap
A4 I find joy being in the classrooms with kids and teachers. This year, to keep that focus, I'm blocking out regular times EVERY day to do that. I like sharing that joy on our school twitter or facebook account to promote a joyful community. #LeadLAP
#LeadLap A4b Later in the day, during a Monday-Wednesday lunch break or after work seeing Lily (2 yo granddaughter) happily coloring outside the lines.. or practicing #DesignThinking & feeling the ideas flow.. times like these.
A4 over the past few years working with so many Ts I have come to LOVE laughing with each of them which starts with talking!😊 find your colleagues and talk...A LOT #LeadLAP
I agree Nili! I start every day at my door to greet every student, even if I have a monster to-do list. It is a great way for them to begin their day and also for me to see how they're feeling as they enter. #leadlap
A4: By taking a walk of gratitude often. If paperwork and phone calls prevent us from being surrounded by the reason we entered this professsion, we will eventually be unable to find JOY. #LeadLap
A4: I pray to center myself and repeat my mantra that “someone needs me”. This gives me solace when I become discouraged. My work is my calling and my acknowledgment of that keeps me grounded. #LeadLAP#LeadingwithJOY@OrganicLeaderVB
How does our current curriculum design support #udl and how can we continue to monitor our work to make learning accessible for all? I just re-watched Todd Rose's "Myth of Average" https://t.co/Bb4FYkPWNC and finished "What Schools Could Be" by @dintersmith#leadlap
Being in classrooms defines the purpose and meaning of the joy for me. It is so energizing to see and hear Ss engaged, collaborating and thinking out loud knowing this is our future right here! That brings joy every time! #LeadLAP
A4: Every Friday when I was a principal was #FreeHugFriday. It started like a storm as kids would run to hug me. Then the teachers did! Next thing teachers were hugging teachers and kids! #LeadLAP
A5: It's everything from a fist bump to walking with a smile on your face and asking a student, staff member or administrator. How they are doing today? #LeadLAP
A4: By taking a walk of gratitude often. If paperwork and phone calls prevent us from being surrounded by the reason we entered this professsion, we will eventually be unable to find JOY. #LeadLap
A4: During the school day, I think the best place to find joy is in our classrooms and around our students. They remind us why we are there; they can help redirect our journeys on tough days! #LeadLAP#LeadingwithJOY
A5: it’s counter intuitive, but validating other emotions can result in joy. Validating anger and sadness to help Ss discover joy is a big deal. #leadLAP
A4: Students, students, students— Their joy can be infectious, easier to witness & feed from... Small acts of kindness or quick chats to improve the spirits of others will bring you joy too (Fill the Bucket!)... Avoid the dunk tank & energy vampires. #leadLAP
A4: I find joy in the journey with constant reminders around me, including this precious kindness rock a student made for me following our Kindness Share Fair! So precious! #leadlap#tlap#passionforkindness
A5: Laughter - share stories (the funny and positive ones) with each other. Either about your own life or your Ss. The laughter fills the office and then the halls. Spreads like wildfire (in a good way)! #LeadLAP
#LeadLAP A5 class celebrations, celebration selfies, morning meetings, modeling joy and kindness, mindful activities, recess, creative thinking, choice. So much of what we do is a natural connection with joy. Just be intentional!
A5: We can never underestimate the power of a genuine smile and a simple joyful greeting. Also, our stafff loves getting creative together, it brings us all joy. #LeadLAP#Path2Serendipity
A4: I have joy when I:
- Watching students learn-engaging in conversations, learning from one another, making connections, etc... & hearing about their lives;
- When staff share new things they've tried, their excitement for teaching, & awesome things in their lives. #leadlap
#LeadLap A5a When I was with Intel (’93 - ’99) there was this culture of innovation and risk taking called “constructive confrontation”.. basically, ideate like mad, but at some point a decision has to be made. Maybe it’s yours.. maybe not. “Disagree & commit” +
A5: I started in the cafeteria. I would play cards, connect 4, etc with the kids. I remember a mean game of spoons once! I also played music to get the kids awake! #LeadLAP
A5: Always view each interaction as an opportunity to brighten someone else's day. Even if it's just a smile, or holding the door open, take those few seconds to make a connection! Kindness matters! Be an ambassador of JOY! #leadlap#passionforkindness#joyambassadors
A5: #1: Remember your WHY and... then be genuine, smile, take time to listen, find people/things to celebrate, breath, laugh with others...to name a few :) #leadlap
A5: My last assignment was at an urban school in Richmond, VA. Whenever students complained about circumstances or not wanting to do things in class I told them “We do what we have to do we can do what we want to”.#LeadLAP#LeadingwithJOY@OrganicLeaderVB
A5: Meet and greet each person you see with intention and purpose to show their value. You never know what they may be going through, but a simple smile, hello, or a high-five could be exactly what they need! #LeadLAP
#LeadLap A5b I reflected on this during one of those long drives back home to Arizona from a California or Texas #EdCamp.. I think it daily joy comes from having a voice in one’s learning experience, especially listening faithfully, authentically to others sharing theirs.
A1: #leadLAP A teacher’s Joy is consistent and not dependent on the weather, coworkers, test scores, outside pressures. A student’s joy, though, is often contracted from a joyful teacher or school!
A5: just being present and mindful of Ss, parents, and Tt. When a parent comes into the office I take the time to build that relationship...this has helped when I have had to have that difficult conversation and discipline their Ss! #leadlap
The workaholic is the room might not understand, but I MUST, must, must stop and eat lunch with my colleagues. Not just for the fuel, but to reconnect with adults. #leadLap#BalanceLAP
A5 Be intentional with your conversations. We shouldn’t just say hello, we need to engage in conversations to show others we value what they do and why they are here. #leadlap
A5: I also think I"m pretty funny - and as @JenFriske can attest to, I will laugh at my own jokes and that usually gets the laughter going too! #whateverworks#LeadLAP
So important that there is no neutral. Every interaction either contributes to the joy of yourself and others OR steals the joy. There is no in between. #LeadLAP#Path2Serendipity
A5. I start every class by saying good morning to each student as they walk through my door. Many get hi-5s or handshakes too. I’m always at my door between classes saying hello to as many as possible. #Leadlap
A5 #leadlap Acknowledging the presence of others is a great way to start. Smile, nod, wave, hug, note, morning announcements, be st the buses or car pool! Check your “not so good” morning at the door so others don’t pay for your spilled milk.
The workaholic is the room might not understand, but I MUST, must, must stop and eat lunch with my colleagues. Not just for the fuel, but to reconnect with adults. #leadLap#BalanceLAP
A5 Having a joyful presence! Each day is a new beginning to start by greeting people - even if no response at first. The energy becomes contagious and will grow. #LeadLAP
A5 I always try to arrive at work with a smile on my face. Whatever has happened at home I try to leave it at the door. A smile to others can change your mood too. #LeadLAP
I’m here for ideas! Ha! But daily connections with staff and kids with a simple hi, comment, recognition (how was your soccer game this weekend?) or a hug are my current norm. #leadLap
Yes! Yes! These are the memories that last forever! Yesterday we had Cousin Game Day which is another joy-filled tradition: 6 cousins, 10 hours, 14 games, priceless memories! Love our joy traditions! You need to write and share yours, too! #leadlap#MLmagical

A5. Greeting everyone as they arrive. Keeping with my #oneword question, getting to know the school community, being visible, planning surprises #LeadLAP
A6: a supervisor once had me focus on my “heart lock” the image that I could go back to in my struggle. My family is my heart lock. It could be a place, people, food, etc. #leadLAP
The workaholic is the room might not understand, but I MUST, must, must stop and eat lunch with my colleagues. Not just for the fuel, but to reconnect with adults. #leadLap#BalanceLAP
A5: In NM we have a saying..."If you don't like the weather wait five minutes for the change!" Moments of pause, reflection, & relaxation should be cultivated & imbedded into daily routines for rest & relaxation of minds & bodies separate from lunch & recess! #LeadLAP
I'm strolling through all of these amazing answers #LeadLAP-I want to make a list to tweet out this weekend with some #JoyfulTips on how to #LeadwithJOY-your answers inspired me!!
A6: Never stop moving forward, even on the darker days, remember it's a bad day not a bad life. Teach that to your Ss and move forward that each new days brings new beginnings and new ways of thinking. #LeadLAP
#LeadLap A6 taking time to care for myself, exercise, massages, quiet, reading, playing kickball, spending time with my family and dog, reflecting on my purpose, connecting with #joyambassadors#ifyoucouldseemyface :)
Leading #TLAP on Monday is going to bring me great JOY! Please join us to talk about new school year gifts for every educator! ❤️❤️❤️ #LeadLAP#Path2Serendipity
A6: This one is really hard for me. I have made some commitments (goals) for this year. Write more, see friends and family more and make sure I take the time to work out. I have some accountability partners to help me! #LeadLAP
A5: Greeting students each day, welcoming them to school, high-fives and fist bumps in the hall, conversations with students; positive notes for staff, little gifts (pens, candy, etc...) throughout the year to let staff know you know they are working hard, + many RAKs. #leadlap
A6: I usually don't need (or have) a lot of "replenishment" but I love time with family/friends, sipping a glass of wine at night, listening to my favorite country artists, having family dinner, watching my kid's games, and getting out on the roads for a jog! #leadlap
A5 I think we need more dancing -Ss led Ts and admin in a dance this past year and they were totally ok not knowing what they were doing! The joy in the air was priceless. #LeadLAP
It’s important to take time for yourself and do something you enjoy outside of the daily grind. This time allows for reflection and personal debriefing. Some of mine are, getting outdoors, out of the city and on a dirt road! #LeadLAP
I’m shooting for a once a month massage. I also watch a little Netflix before bed. #littleThings I have also tried to make my office a place that feels inviting and “mine” #Netflix#leadLap
A6.2: I’ve been sharing because it’s most real; recognizing my triggers and the things that block joy is a great step towards remaining in my joy. What ideas, situations, cause you to be emotionally traumatized. This is DIFFERENT than things that make you uncomfortable #LeadLAP
A2: People bring me joy (family, friends, kids, colleagues, PLN). I also am finding joy in doing things I’ve always wanted to do but “didn’t have time.”. I now am reading educational books, connecting w/educators in new ways, reconnecting with friends, etc. #LeadLAP
Yo #LeadLAP crew! Bummed I missed today’s joyfilled chat, but I’m on my way to get my daughter from sleep away camp! Can’t wait to read all the tweets! #Joy is getting to see this kid after two weeks!
I've had the pleasure of seeing this whenever I'm near his classroom. @herraaronfritz believes in building relationships and does a masterful job of making students feel valued. #LeadLap
A5b: Celebrations are so important for students and staff. Learning is hard work, and teaching is hard work. We need to celebrate the great work accomplished in schools and the effort put forth often! #leadlap
This is why this one is so speciat to me-we as educators don't put OUR JOY on the front burner until it's too late-it's a daily act that ensures we serve from a full vessel #LeadLAP#LeadingwithJOY
A6 Be prepared to be honest about how you are feeling. Being over happy everyday is unrealistic. Know who you can share this with and replenish by learning that it is ok to be like this sometimes. Don't be so hard on yourself! #LeadLAP
A6: Love weekends, morning walks, breaks with the kids during the school day, family time, gym time, mommy time, holiday breaks, summer breaks...there is a lot! #LeadLAP
A3: Look for inspiration via #PLN, #JoyfulLeaders, @JonGordon11, Facebook... and then try to share it with others. I love beginning the day in a positive mindset. #LeadLAP
A6: I refuel my joy by spending time with family, friends, reading, walking, creating, writing and getting enough sleep! Also, need solitude and time to reflect #leadlap
A6: I sing, I seek out people who I love and respect and spend time with them. I engage in Twitter chats at least once a week to gain inspiration, I go to church each week to be renewed to name a few #leadlap
A6 Sometimes I stop at a store on my way home to browse as a way to just clear my mind. Usually gets me thinking in another direction. Can be hazardous to the wallet though. #LeadLAP
#LeadLap A6a Several weeks ago I stumbled over a @heathercalvert blog post, “Choose to Challenge”.. https://t.co/jungqXuKmM .. my takeaway was from the 2nd paragraph.. Ss leaving school not knowing [practical] how to _____ +
Yes! I agree! It's important to share the "not so great moments," too. When I wrote about the day my mom died (https://t.co/6UYbk0okmc) so many people reached out and shared such kindness to my hurting heart. We have to be real, too! #leadlap#REALedu#passionforkindness
Hey #leadlap and @burgess_shelley Barbara from TX jumping in late because we're trying to get the yard done while it's still in the 90s and not too hot.
You must read this book about JOY. Spot on! #choosejoy
Totally agree! My JOY cup is filled through powerful collaborative conversations with passionate educators. It’s why I love Twitter so much! 😉 #LeadLAP
As educators we need to have eyes that CHOSE to see the unseen. We have to BELIEVE that our kids are capable of more than we ever imagined. #LeadLAP#tlap#SatChat#KidsDeserveIt#edchat#PLN
A6: Reflection, mindfulness, and taking time off to recoup. As my colleague @majesticmonarch has on her wall, "Start each day with a positive thought." Friday afternoon #engagechat and Saturday #LeadLAP clear the path for maintaining joyfulness.
A6: Yoga always refuels my joy as does spending time away from work with my family - I especially love hearing my girls laugh, getting together with friends, reading books that inspire me, being outside in my garden or around the beautiful Pacific Northwest, & much more. #leadlap
A6: Children and music are my JOY; when they collide, magical things happen. Here we are singing You Are My Sunshine to a special friend; be still my heart.
#LeadLAP#choosejoy
A6 #leadlap I call @OrganicLeaderVB. I also love to slow down, read, and clean my house to relax. Dinner with family and friends. Watching Marvel Comics with my sons. Coffee and homemade 🍪 do it for me as well!
All right everyone, I will talk later. I'm off to do some garage saling. Need to find more locks for my #unlocklearning plans for the new school year. #LeadLAP
I agree! I have been reading kids' books this summer since I am switching grades. It was fun to test out the books my Ss will be or are reading!! #leadlap
#LeadLap A6b I’m reminded of this most days. Today my youngest, 21 yo daughter, and I are going to fix a leaky faucet. She chose to learn now from the “OldMan”.. listening to questions from others seeking help and then stepping up to share what i know brings joy.
A4: Be with the kids as much as possible (halls, cafeteria, classroom, playground, bus). Kids always bring me joy! They help me stay “present” & in the moment. It’s amazing how much joy you miss on a daily basis just by not taking time to pause & notice! #LeadLAP
Have you read Before We Were Yours? Three different friends brought it to me and said they thought it was great! I have not read it yet but the pressure is on.... #LeadLAP

@burgess_shelley, @LeslieLuck1, @OrganicLeaderVB
There are so many Ss who do not feel lunch and recess are "rest" or "relaxing." They are loud, overstimulating, and stressful. We have to give those kids their rest time too, several times in the school day with us if possible. #Leadlap
A2 spending quiet moments in the morning alone, loud moments with my family and friends and being grateful for the ability to do both. Being able live what I am passionate about brings me joy. #LeadLAP
A6: Reflection is a major part of my process. While reflecting alone or with my PLN, I take time to make sure that my attitude, behavior and choices align with my purpose, mission and vision. #LeadLap
Love it!!! We actually have one of our team norms “It is perfectly acceptable to break out in random song” - so awesome! You are my people!! I loved singing in church choir! #leadlap
Exciting and terrifying were the 2 words I used to describe it!! BUT - I'm all about the risk taking and out of my comfort zone this year! #bringiton#LeadLAP#REALedu

A7 - I am going to restart my gratitude journal. One line a day telling something I am grateful for. If it is a person, I will make sure to tell them :) #leadlap
A7: Remember to refill your own joy. You are just as important as those you come across each day. In order to be there for others, we also need to take care of our own joy! #LeadLAP
A7 I'm using social media to tell my school's story. https://t.co/E3D4AR1RQh tells the story of #joy and makes the narrative louder than the rest! #leadlap
Thank you to this amazing crew for sharing and learning with us today. So appreciate @OrganicLeaderVB for leading. Have a joyful weekend everyone! #LeadLAP
Special thanks to @OrganicLeaderVB for leading this uplifting #LeadLAP chat this morning. You are a constant source of positivity and joy in my PLN, Akilah! #tlap
A7: I will seek intentional ways to bring joy to my teachers. They can’t be effective if they are asked to lead from empty cups. I will work hard to lighten their loads. #LeadLAP#LeadingwithJOY@OrganicLeaderVB#JoyfulLeaders
A7). Today’s chat reminded me again of always being present and genuine with my interactions w/ Students and staff! Smile, laugh and truly listen! This will be a source of joy! #LeadLAP
A7: Don’t forget your Why, always remember it all starts with #Culturize and all things discussed help make it happen. Do your best to never show stress and show you’re always happy to see the person in front of you! #LeadLAP
