1. Title your presentation (Slide 1).
2. Use the directions on the slide to add your GIF to slide 2.
3. Go to the Share button, click “Get shareable link” and click “Done”.
4. Share the link w/ all of us as your A4 response.

#espechat#GIFtip 4: One of the best things about GIFs is the ability to crop & border them, unlike videos. SO if you have excess space showing around the activity, just double click and drag from the middle handles to “cut” part of it off-shown here:
#espechat I got it installed, but I am having trouble getting past that. I am going to have to play with it awhile. When I clicked the extension it said to choose my video. Can I navigate away and choose something from my google drive? This is where I am stuck.

Ross, it will become a gif again once you begun presentation mode. It does not animate otherwise. This is how I leave my sub plans is the only reason I know this. #espechat

Gotcha. I'm a Mac guy, so that's cool if you can do it on a Windows PC. I actually just realized I can't even try to crop GIFs inserted into PowerPoint for Mac. The crop button is grayed out... #espechat

Yea, I keep waiting for the writers of that extension to fix that, but it's been "broken" for a LONG time. I'm so used to right clicking on it, I sometimes forget it doesn't work right. #espechat

#espechat Check out https://t.co/vPVm8H1tCL. We have compiled a massive amounts of really good videos that you can use. There are also a lot of gifs there as well. You can save yourself a bit by using what exists.
#espechat One important note: so many people are creating GIFs, now, that often what you need is already available. Earlier I shared the "GIF Collection" folder: https://t.co/4YjG2stvDs Always be sure you check there before taking the time to make your own from videos!
Yes. You can set the video to private, but still use it to create your GIFs. I like this method for efficiency because you can record a bunch of skills in a row and then just extract the GIFs. #espechat
