Welcome to #ARVRinEDU
Please introduce yourself & your favorite #AR book! If you don’t know of any, you’ll LOVE it tonight.
Download the @SpyQuest app to view the images from the book at https://t.co/bNXjS4Cm0A
Open the app and select the Spy Cam at the bottom.
Q1: View this image in the app and share how you think they are finding the location of the thief? This book is intended to inspire reluctant readers. Share how this type of book can improve reading? #ARVRinEDU@SpyQuest
Q2: According to the code, who has the Hope Diamond? The image comes to life and reveals information to “decode.” How does the spy theme inspire investigation? #ARVRinEDU@SpyQuest
I just started playing with @FigmentAR and they have a site that helps create your own ARVR portal experiences. Haven’t made anything with ARKit yet. #arvrinedu

I’m not prepared for class. Installed app on phone, but that’s the only device I️ have on. Shame on me. Still following chat to learn, tho. Tweet on, #ARVRinEDU
Q4: Where did the thief travel after taking the Hope Diamond? These videos provide insight into more information in the book. How can this be used in books? #ARVRinEDU@SpyQuest
Totally agree! Being a spy is kinda sneaky and techie too, so I can see students feeling somewhat rebellious and intelligent when reading @SpyQuest#ARVRinEDU
Q5: FINAL THOUGHTS! Check out this #AR inside of #AR. Now that you’ve experienced a few of the images in this book, what do you recommend to @SpyQuest? #ARVRinEDU

me too, I have so many ideas I want to add, need to figure out how to start writing some of this for myself, but alas, so few programs work on my chromebook for this, or my ancient school computer

I would love to hear from anyone on suggestions that they would like to see in @spyquest#ARVRinEDU. I may even be able to surprise you with what else we are doing
A5: I would love to see this tied to real life History Mysteries in which Ss get clues about significant events and need to research to find out what happened. #arvrinedu
I think that would be my first suggestion in the user experience for @SpyQuest. Possible scrolling text so it can be a larger font to make it easier to read. #arvrinedu

Yup. The app switcher holds all the apps still running in multi task. You access in iOS 11 by double tapping home button or swiping up from the bottom of the screen (or swipe up from bottom only on #iPhoneX). #ARVRinEDU
We have built this from the ground up focusing on education. The books have unprecedented success with thousands turning up at book signing events. #ARVRinEDU

#ARVRinEDU@SpyQuest maybe incorporate Aimee time traveler VR. Cool effect of what it looks like today then places you into what it looked like say in 1940s. Really cool
The speed on these was intentional. These leaflets play their part in intelligence updates in the game. We want to get the sense of urgency. We have however created additional AR elements such as cipher encryption or decryption which are slower. #ARVRinEDU
