Q2 all the sessions are great - interested in digital literacy and coding
A2 Interested in Digital Reading Skills. Important skills in today's world
In last 25 years, computers have transformed libraries and their usage! No more quiet shushing/rustling of pages! Active, engaged
No more card catalogs! Thank goodness I got into the job after those; can't imagine typing all of the cards for EACH book!
I think makerspaces and innovative uses of tech, as well as collaboration ops are what will define libraries in the future
Libraries changed from quiet, inactive spaces to vibrant creative, learning, being active spaces. Yay!
A3 typing cards for the catalog was a nightmare. Transformation hubs - resources that enable info transformation
A3 expanding digital literacy since peeps can't separate fact from fiction
A3 and Linda Swarlis libguides were a great example of providing high quality resources
A4 special section of collection devoted to graphic novels
A4 Love, love love graphic novels! I use them to promote diversity in literature.
A4 holding a short semester class in graphic novels with grad student at OSU leading the discussion
A4 Mainly graphic novels are just op 4 recreational reading but some Ts from my school coming W, so maybe we'll plan cool new use!
Sounds cool! When/where? https://t.co/62Y51veqal

A4 this was in 2010 at UAHS. Collaborated with English Ed Dept at OSU and grad student came to UAHS once a week
Yes definitely and kids have been reading them more too.
Oh, did you see graphic novel use increase after this experience?
Sounds like a great way to get Ss to have a voice in library activities! Can't wait to learn more at preā¦ https://t.co/2VbJpTQeWw
Most of the Ss were dedicated graphic novel readers who told me where to go to get the best selection of graphic novels
A5 Plan which sessions to attend ahead of time
