A1: Give students a voice and watch what happens. The more they lead, the better they become at it. We must let them lead.
A1 Listening and providing time for Ss to discuss.
A1: Promoting conversation through themselves. If school leaders can communicate they can make a more engaging atmosphere for Ss.
A1) Help to give them a voice. Include them in the conversations.
A1: so important. Find out about their true passions!
A1: ask good questions; make engagement routine, not an event. https://t.co/zs8BBaqX2m
Q1-In what ways can teachers and school leaders bring student voice into the education conversation?

A1: We can involve learners in their education and truly listen to what they want/need every day
It is the small things that mean so much! It shows that they matter to you. https://t.co/cV5kT77iRF
This is small ... but I want to allow different students to sign up each morning to lead the pledge. https://t.co/IZG4IaPtKH
Q1-In what ways can teachers and school leaders bring student voice into the education conversation?
A1: When you ask Ss a Q, listen. Like, DO NOT TALK until a S answers. "Do you have any questions?" + 2 sec pause doesn't cut it
A1. S leadership team. Allow Ss to advocate/question leadership about policy that impacts them
A1 Have a class twitter acct and let Ss tweet out their learning. https://t.co/nGOm9bL2Q7
Q1-In what ways can teachers and school leaders bring student voice into the education conversation?

A1: I always ask my students how they thought my lesson went or what they thought about the lesson
Love this! https://t.co/NkHgBMBAhG
A1: I always ask my students how they thought my lesson went or what they thought about the lesson
Such a great approach! Do you find they are hesitant at first to be critical? My 4th/5ths were
A1 response: The key is waiting long enough. They first tell you what they think you wanna hear.
A1: I ask them what they think about things a lot. As time goes on, they get more honest.
Thanks Tom! It's great to participate and connect in our 2 chats!
Count to at least 5. Let them get uncomfortable with the silence
Also, when we implement a new idea, we can name it after the kid that catalyzed it. This is "Syed's strategy." (Thx, !)
Great ideas being shared! Keep it coming...
A1 Bring student voices into the conversation by letting them have a voice, understanding they're kids, learning as they go.
A1 student council at all levels are powerful. I agree w/ having Ss evaluate a lesson. Ss surveys should being on how they learn

Me too, that means we need to ne teachers and learnes at the same time!!
A1: do personality assessments to grow self awareness- let Ss learn in a way that matches their personality
A1: When a student gives feedback, ACT ON IT. Don't just pat them on the head. Show them you'll do something when they speak up
