I know ! I was telling kids the other day that when I was younger we had 2 save things on an object.

I’m State DOE, we have all PD turned in w/Gdocs. Lesson plans, etc

A2) Ways I have or would use Google forms: give quizzes and used new embedded tool to grade, volunteer surveys

A2: We use them for every end of session survey as well as registration! I use them for peer review in the college course I teach

A2cont) More G-forms ideas: collect info from staff (staff faves, vote 4 something), collect Twitter response from sts 2 post later

Q3) What about Google calendars? How can they help us in education?

They are so great for any kind of registration purpose.

Google can be used from as young as K and up

Depends how they are used/accessed. I used Google forms with K-2,embeddd on a website. They didn't need an email.

My new school sts are using in preK!

A3 definitely for back channelling, planner, home assignment, polls

A3) Google calendar ideas: parent conference sign up, homework calendar, resource calendar (reserve computer carts, projector etc.)

A3: Calendars are vital for parent communication but also great for keeping students on track

A3) I like Google calendar for teaching sts organizational skills. It's like teaching study habits, but in the 21st century.

I agree ! There are no excuses for not knowing dates, etc. anymore.

This year one of my first grades did a google hangout with their teacher who absent for a month. They were so adorable.

Google drawings ideas: word or picture sorts, annotate pictures (response to reading), illustrate writing, add speech bubbles
