@ home MacBook Air (2015), @ work MacBook Pro (2015). Both do what I need in each environ. 16GB ram @ work for vagrant is nice!

Custom desktop unless I'm forced to be on my laptop elsewhere. 2 monitors more than doubles my productivity.

iMac 5k 27”. Main dev machine and happy with it. Nokogiri install on MBP is wonky. Don’t use it as dev machine.

Likewise (especially if I'm doing frontend work) a bad monitor can be an anchor. Poor colors, low resolution = low productivity.

I damaged a Lenovo Thinkpad's screen a few years back, slipping on some ice and landing on my backpack. Saved my head, probably.
