A1: I don't know a lot but what I "think" I know is that without #NetNeutrality service providers can charge whatever they want for various channel options. #cuechat
A1) Agreeing with an adding to @KristinOropeza I think it means they can give high paying businesses faster speeds and better access to customers and data than others #cuechat
I don't think that's a good idea for consumers - or for those of us in education who rely on those services to get our kiddos connected to the outside world! #SaveNetNeutrality#CueChat
A2: Students in impoverished communities will be first to feel it. It'll be like the first days of the net when the privileged had access before it became widespread. #cuechat
A2: Losing open access to the internet would remove a vital tool teachers use to create lessons with UDL in mind...it would send schools back to pre-internet days.... #CUEchat
A2: How are kiddos going to really learn digital citizenship and about all those AWESOME EdTech apps without the internet to connect them? I work in several low socioeconomic schools and they are going to be hit the hardest. Same with our SPED kiddos. #CueChat
The rich are afraid of net neutrality because access to free knowledge creates a level playing field & takes away their advantage over the rest of us. #cuechat
A3: School access by low SES kids in rural areas will suffer most. The more affluent children of farmers will more likely have better access due to ability to pay for better service at home. #cuechat
A3: The schools in our nation already struggle to compete with the rest of the world in education. Let's put us back to the dark ages without internet and see how well that boosts our achievement scores. #cuechat
This is like when Bibles were only written in Latin. What happens if laypeople can read? They form their own opinions. Scary for the power holders. Net neutrality removes the Latin. #cuechat
My grandma used to tell me stories about growing up in rural Kansas and having to walk miles upon miles to school each day - no matter the inclement weather. This is what this reminds me of. Ss already at a disadvantage before the school day has begun. #cuechat
A3) Rural schools (and others) already struggle to get infrastructure, to get technology, and to get WiFi...do they really need one more roadblock? We should be clearing the paths not putting obstacles in them! #netneutrality#cuechat
Q4: Did you know that without #NetNeutrality, vendors will be able to influence search engines so the public will have no real idea of the real information available? How could that impact learning? #CUEchat
Q4: Did you know that without #NetNeutrality, vendors will be able to influence search engines so the public will have no real idea of the real information available? How could that impact learning? #CUEchat
A4: Can we say "fake news"? We will only see what the service providers (and ultimately big money and the government) want us to see - news completely tailored to their agenda. #cuechat
So if Nike pays for all the results on tennis shoes, good luck finding a pair of Addidas! The algorithms are already weighted. This would be ridiculous! #cuechat

A4) Worse in my opinion, news and information tired to my personal interests ONLY, my own private Idaho apart from different perspectives and new ideas and taylored to make me an uber-consumer #cuechat
Q5: #SB822, restoring California net neutrality, has been passed by the Ca Legislature. #SB822 is on Gov Brown’s desk - you might want to urge him to sign it! @JerryBrownGov#NetNeutrality#CUEchat
It is already a challenge for our community, with disparate services, some with very low bandwidth. Through e-rate we have managed to provide viable service at school. If bandwidth costs rise, forcing a downgrade, it would impact students with limited resources at home. #cuechat

The loss of net neutrality means Internet providers will control the priority and speed in which we access information. Access to content based upon who pays the most both from the producer and consumer side means we all lose on some many levels. @cetpa@Placer_COE#CUEChat

Don’t allow internet providers to determine what you can see and at what speed you can see it!!!! Speak up and make your voice heard! #CUEchat#netneutrality
