All depends on where Ss are, & where they need to go (based on the target). Also, I use

I like how Marzano isn't hierarchical (ie one better) but distinguishes between different types of learning. Accurate?

Yup... and depth. Notice the language is based on skills, just like standards/targets. Makes alignment easy.

Yup. Hattie's research & Marzano's research basically parallel. Both meta analyses say roughly the same thing about what works

I think levels 1-4 make sense but they may not be developmentally ready for metacognition.
