Good morning everyone and Happy Friday!! We have early dismissal today to start our holiday break. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!! I was inspired all week by the supportive and giving community we have. They help ensure all our students have Christmas and meals! #bfc530

It is tremendous to bear witness to a child who realizes that the the risk has paid off.

I was inspired by a grade 4 student whose little brother had just started JK and was overwhelmed. He gently held him, kissed him, and spoke to him soothingly in their first language. He did all of this in front of his peers and modelled empathy and kindness for all of us. #bfc530
Our drama teacher and her gr10 class put on a really impressive production of Lamb to the Slaughter for our grade 9s. It was so great! Inspiring work. #bfc530

What inspired me the most this past week was when two former students (now nursing majors) told me how much they miss my class and that they felt prepared for their college stats course because of it! It is always encouraging to hear and see the impact we have. :) #BFC530
#bfc530 I met with a lot of teachers this week and was inspired by their resiliency. It’s been a crazy fall—lots of new initiatives—but they’re trying their best to balance it all. I’m so grateful for them and their positive attitudes!
