A1/2 We have many reasons to believe that visuals add to engagement, or at least keep people staring at a screen - but what is the most effective for learning - and how do you really know the impact on ALL learners? #satchat
Its something I worry about all the time in the training I do. If I entertain I get engagement that can be shallow. If I probe or hold a mirror for reflection I get a different type of engagement which can cause squirming, but maybe better learning. #satchat
A3 When reading "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance," we moved a construction-paper motorcycle across a map of the U.S. to track Pirsig's progress. #satchat
But maybe that is a paradigm that needs shifting. We need to engage as fellow learners - moving ownership to the learner and showing them ways of soaring in their learning. #satchat
