    A2. We looked at where our current staff came from to determine where our talent has come from as a starting point. We then analyzed our hiring success at the colleges we went to. From this we determined our core colleges to focus on. #k12talent

    A2: There are several universities in the state that have strong teacher preparation programs. We hit those and another that produces a more diverse candidate pool. #k12talent

    A3. It starts with supporting observations, practicums, student teaching, etc. in the district. Get involved by speaking in classrooms and to student organizations. Build relationships with college staff. Get involved at the college. #k12talent

    A3: Through a friend we have built a relationship with a university's director of student teaching. We've recently established a pipeline for students to come and do their preservice with us. First year and going well. #K12Talent

    A4. We recently partnered with 5 other school districts to host a virtual career fair to chat with prospective college candidates prior to teacher/interview fairs on campus. #k12talent

    A5. We surveyed future teachers from our core universities to find out what information they were looking for and updated our website. #k12talent

    A8. We look at metrics like number of candidates at our career fair booth, to number of applications, to number of hires from our core colleges (yield or flowthrough rate). Then we evaluate our efforts and impact to those metrics. #k12talent
