A3 Autumn Zaminski here jumping in late! Creativity comes in many forms. Mathematical thinking, scientific inquiry, or powerful poems! Noticing and sharing their individual creative talents! Students tend to think creativity = good at art. Show them it’s more! #createEDU
A3: We can have a nice chat w/them about what they are doing & give them lots of choice. When I confer w/my Ss about their writing it's mostly me asking questions. I put them as peers w/me. Their answers, their decisions, their words MATTER. #CreateEdu
A3: The best way to support and empower Ss to be creative is to teach in a way that is knowledge rich & makes explicit connections between concepts/vocab. Show Ss love by challenging and encouraging them. Then students can be creative by playing with that knowledge!

A3. Providing Ss with experiences to meet professionals or other kids outside of their school, city, or state brings the excitement of learning to life. This type of experience opens up the classroom walls & provides Ss with opportunities they may never encounter. #createedu
