A2) I have loved my postcard unit. I gave the Ss assessment choices, one choice was to write postcards in the language they were studied, then I mailed them! I love the responses! From the postcard receivers and from my students. #moedchat
A2 was not a part of this lesson other than being an observer but I really enjoyed our 8th grade Com Arts class lesson on creating a Ted Talk. Ss got to share passions and learned to plan, prepare create and executable a TedTalk #Moedchat
#moedchat A2: for math class we planned a trip to Disney and I dressed the part. For science we got to Skype with a Yellowstone Park Ranger again and lots of fun #stem projects and #makerspace time. So much fun!
#moedchat A2 Several. First having Mr Philo Barnhart & Mr Charles Moisant visit our school. Mr Barnhart is the creator of Ariel from The Little Mermaid and has worked on other Disney animations. Great opportunity for our students to learn art and creativity.

A3) My 8th grade 3rd Quarter @TroySouthMiddle took on a Global Issue and tried to solved it or make an impact on the issue. I love the inventions my students developed. #moedchat
A3: Our building really focused on #StudentVoice & #StudentChoice . Along w/ that my classes had Capstone projects which empowered them to follow their passions. It's been the highlight of the year by far💯 #moedchat
A3 I asked our art club and art students to create uplifting murals and messages to paint on our walls. It was a great addition to our building and a great way to give students a voice #Moedchat

A3: classroom jobs! I was skeptical of this in a MS classroom so I didn’t try it last year. I tried this year and it went great! I knew that when I was out of the building my classroom was functioning properly. It gave Ss responsibility and taught them accountability #moedchat
#moedchat A3 Also participated in two cultural conversations. Our sociology class spoke with a class in Argentina 🇦🇷 over the issue of gender inequality & our CE class discussed current issues with a class from Monterrey Mexico 🇲🇽.
A3 Started developing a broadcast club at our high school and got a grant to start a film club and a news club next year. Really getting pumped for what our students will get to show off with this. #moedchat

A5 I was worried about letting my elementary kids work on 3D design, but they ended up blowing my mind with their creations. I blew through 3 rolls of filament on them on our 3D printer! Goes to show you can't assume little ones aren't capable. #moedchat

Well, this happened today. Had middle school take a survey reflecting on our Makerspace Wednesday rotation. Got this response that remind me of @awall777 Thinking there is a song/t-shirt or poster in there somewhere: "We need more Raspberry Pi." #moedchat

A2: PBL with another colleague and her class on our annual Latino Baile. This fundraiser project surpassed our expectations. We had more EL parents involved, more administrators and non EL students attend. We exceeded last year's $$ mark. #moedchat

A3: This semester I introduces weekley Spanish songs activities. Each S listened to new Spanish artist and did some vocabulary activity. What I loved was Ss telling me that they downloaded the song/s and shared songs with friends and family. #moedchat
A6: Lots of great moments. I hope each year brings more and more fun and engagement and that I keep the passion for teaching that I rediscovered this year. I adjusted my lenses to refocus on what really matters and work hard to steer clear of what doesn't. #moedchat
