A2 Having all this info available on my phone was a huge help.

Yes, stops all that frantic search of info you might need right away
A2 . As an Ambassador I use Symbaloo to share resources on Edmodo. It is so easy to organize and you can see all at once.
Sounds amazing can't wait to try it
My name Jennifer from Texas. A1 I have used it for my personal business and family.
Q3 For our new friends, does anyone have suggestions for everyday use? Also, do you group by topic, or one webmix to rule them all?

A2: So it allows you to collect bookmarks and present them in a visual format? I can see some applications for it as a teacher.
My sister is handicapped and I use it so she knows where she can go on the internet and be safe.
I absolutely LOVE that!!! It's a great application for many areas of disability.

Webmixes can be created to organize any topic you want
A3 I have several since I am a Digital Learning Specialist at two Campuses and I use it at home. One is color coded.
A3 I like color code resources so I can have them on one page. For example, red for grammar sites, blue for comic makers, etc.
I love the color-coding feature. I use that in many different areas of life.
A3 I like how simple it is to navegate.
Q4 Have you recommending Symbaloo to your non-teaching friends? Maybe for their business/professional needs? Any feedback about it?
A3 I'm playing with it now. Made a set of lessons grouped by unit, linking google docs and resource sites.
You're off to a great start!
Good going, ! You can also share your webmixes very easily. Editing one is quick too.
I am sorry I can't stay to the end if chat. This chat really gave me food for thought!! Good evening everyone!!
I think introducing to colleagues for school use got them to understand it can be used at home too
Have a great night, Brenda!!! Thanks for stopping by!
A4 I have to say most of my friends are teachers. I have told it to my friends with kids though.
I have many technophobes at my school. Just getting the on board with school-use is difficult.
I agree, but the certification helped. I did it with them and guided them through it after school for a few weeks
A3 I have search the spanish resources and I love it
We now have a school webmix with each teacher having a tile for the sites they want students on https://t.co/RHEfniZwFc

I had one morning intro session for a few teachers. We have many new staff this year so I may hold another.
I think that is the way to go. They will appreciate the time you put into helping them
Q4 It looks like a shared webmix can be copied, but not edited. Correct? I'm concerned about students altering it just for giggles.
We made certification a school-wide tech goal two years ago
Students could only edit with the Premium account, correct ?
If they're not locked you can. Right? I have a few on my tabs that I can edit.
I am so going to look into that. Thanks
Sorry I missed the first part of the chat
only downfall is that on iPads can't run the videos w/o flash and some filters block youtube.
I protect mine from being edited by anyone. There is a feature to do that.
it is everything I use and need and more in the library.
We've found that you can't convert using Chrome. We need to pull up Safari to do that.
YAY! I'm glad! That's why we do what we do.
don't we all don't we all. where in Philly do you teach?
Finally Q6: Since it is only July, and summer vacation, how have you been "unprofessional" this summer? Whay have you done for FUN?
A6 Oh that's easy! Saw Billy Joel and Paul Mccartney this month and lots of games https://t.co/k18DytQRZA
