I’m not sure I’d count it as a win, but I got the opportunity to be an acting VP for a period of time. It was eye opening, challenging, and I think I was pretty good at it! #bfc530
My biggest win is my lowest class size in 30 years (16) and a paraprofessional who is a dear friend. I still can’t believe it played out that way. #bfc530

This is when your school’s staff should be doing creative things that build school pride & increase morale. As a principal, my staff devised a sunshine committee that did special things to keep people motivated during the tough times in the year. I took care of the rest. #bfc530

We have had several “big WINS” this school year. One that I’m especially proud of is the kindness movement we started. We have a random act of kindness board in our main hall, a kindness tree, as well as a thankful bulletin board everyone can sign. #bfc530

Having 1st semester students come back to say they miss my Math class, even if the weren't convinced about my teaching style (#thinkingclassroom) while they were in the class. At least they appreciate it after the fact! #bfc530

Morning bfc crew! So many proud moments of my kiddos. I’d say biggest win is Ss ownership of their data/learning. They’ve tracked all their progress and have such clarity of the goals they’ve achieved and which still need work. Makes voice/choice easy! #bfc530
In my opinion, my corporation won by not passing a referendum project. Yes, we need a project, but this was not the right one. On the flip side, old superintendent is gone, and district is now exploring divorce options to separate from one another. #bfc530
#bfc530 A big win was meeting 2 SLOs for a new class design. Improving was raising performance for one SLO for a repeat class. Gotta stretch. Streeeetch.

Getting a job! I was selling cars in December and working at a school in January. Good was good to me. Now if I could get the kids to stop talking, I'd be in heaven : ) #bfc530
Also, the privilege to present in the past year at #ISTE17, #NPC17, #MassCUE, #MALeads, and #ASCD18 were all outstanding.

Professional win was putting on a 300+ Student Leadership Con with Ss from over 50 schools and a Teacher win would be finding the Love ❤️ and building the relationships that I have with this years Ss. Some year it just happens, this year we had to make it happen #bfc530
I have a new strategy to help me with my books. Audible to ‘listen and think’, then reread and scribble, highlight later. I’m finding that I hear different things than I see..reading first is best when I can. Going to try this with kids next year-if it works for me... #bfc530

My 1 big win. I was trained in the @IMSEOG method this fall. After 6 months a 3rd grader who could barely copy words wrote this note without any support. So happy for and proud of this student, he has worked hard and come so far. #bfc530
