A1: the presenter did not have a full grasp of what they were talking about or when they did not understand needs of school
A1 Easy one-being a part of numerous PLC/PLN in WV, surrounding myself with passionate

Only bad thing about scheduled tweets is that they randomly appear without warning. I had to scroll back to find it
A2: Vanguard cohort 3 training, coding workshop, Beginning Teacher Academy
Didn't have a choice tonight. Wasn't sure when I'd make it home :) I'll try to keep them high in the feed.
A2: Lots of assessment-related opportunities. It appears assessment is my life now. :-|

A2: Presenting w/ at Student Success Summit! Also, co-teaching academies for each level in LCS!
Kyle, what do u mean by state network of educators?
It is one of my core competencies anyway, so a nice fit. ACT was in Minneapolis - TOTALLY recommend! :)
A3: More KCS teachers and admins participating in and other PLN’s.
A3: More KCS teachers and admins participating in and other PLN’s.
The SNE is a cadre of educators who worked on the SBAC Digital Library and are involved in other projects as well.
A3: More PD that is teacher led, by a variety of folks! Plus, PD that is more than just lecture
gotcha. Take some time to recharge. We need ya
I have some ideas for that. I'll be in touch. Anyone from interested in 'riding the wave' too?
I'd like to see my county get on the Minecraft and Coding wagon. More creativity less drill and kill data
Definitely! Book study over voxer! Think about it. https://t.co/lurQ8lCupU
I have some ideas for that. I'll be in touch. Anyone from interested in 'riding the wave' too?
A3: I'd like to see teacher usage go WAY up on the digital library, supported with more formative assessment training.
A3: Less teacher led and more student centered instruction.
A3 more iPad trainings, edchats, and coding!!!
A3: HUGE QUESTION! 3 parts...I want to learn more by publishing, I want to bring in what my staff needs...
A3: AND I want to utilize the awesomeness that is already in my schools!
Yaaay! I'm thankful for leaders in WV like this one! https://t.co/lf9v1Lz0ny
A3: More KCS teachers and admins participating in and other PLN’s.
Agree 100% on coding. It is becoming a new Universal Language!
A3: I'll take advantage of almost anything. I want to see my dept. do the same - by choice, rather than by bribery & cajoling
A3: More Berkeley County folks participating in .
Great learning and sharing!
A3: More Berkeley County folks participating in .
Great learning and sharing!
A3: teachers having the ability to pick their PD, getting the opportunity to go away from school and see what others are doing
A3: More of what is cooking up for this summer! He's about to NAIL IT!
A3: Wish some of you were in my district...maybe I would have had more people at my PD sessions!
WOW Some awesome awesome responses for Q3.
A3: Teachers taking charge of their own PD. They need choice menus the same way kids need them,
Paid sabbatical is something our Supt. said he'd like to do. Unfortunately, $$$$$
A3 more 3D printing learning opportunities
I also shared What Connected Educators Do Differently - my copy gets borrowed a lot and passed around at schools
What our kids did with the 3D printer this year was nothing short of amazing. Definitely something to build on.
A3 More PD that isn't just bring in a speaker or call it PD on opening day when it's not!
A3: I'd like to see mor our state coaches, PD coordinators walking the walk insteading of just talking the talk. Transparent lrng.
for PD is a model that Ts want - they need different skills https://t.co/dxjoLHzONA
A3: Teachers taking charge of their own PD. They need choice menus the same way kids need them,
I think it's beyond time to move on from one-and-done, need a learning plan and a personal goal!
A3: More edcamp experiences closer to home
Very much so! It's one of the things I wrote about in an upcoming blog post
A4: prob same as last year: relenquishing control, providing Ss more autonomy, improved assessment practices.
A4 Our Ts need to experience other learning opportunities than sit-and-get. Learner centered, not teacher centered.
I'm excited to see more experiences pop up in our state. https://t.co/9bA94By3Fd
A3: More edcamp experiences closer to home
need more PD on it in our county
A4: So many are still teaching skills whose utility ran out long ago. We need to teach skills people living in this century use.
A3. Personalized learning paths- teacher choice
A4: Our Ts need to actually GO to PD that isn't mandated and try to learn for learning sake...
A3 Follow up-remove seat time component for PD. Learning can occur anywhere now!
A4-Having time to model and implement PD and support to keep it going. We have 2 TIS's for our whole county and we are busy
Looking forward to summer cation with my boys & collab team training
A4: i truly deep understanding of what they are doing and why in terms of curriculum, curriculum mapping, cross curricular curr.
WHOO Awesome! Yes, it's def a need This world needs lrnrs. https://t.co/btVamwrg7u
A4: So many are still teaching skills whose utility ran out long ago. We need to teach skills people living in this century use.
A4: I think the seamless use of technology imbedded in a lesson.
A4: an understanding of pace in the classroom, serious inquiry
We will have none next year!
A4 personalized pd using online resources such as voxer chats, twitter chats, podcasts, time for research and implementation
A4 sharing the technology that we have
A4- time together as a staff, makes collaboration difficult
A4: Let's empower our teachers so they feel confident in asking and searching out what they know they need!
A4: Sharing and reflecting time too... and making CE days actually have PD :/
Join the RemindHQ list to stay up to date with over the summer! https://t.co/BjWu4PbRQ3

Was going to say that, but you got there first, so I'll add an AMEN! Preach it, sister!
Excellent! Who will b 1st district to offer PD credit for capturing lrng via ? It's happening outside WV! https://t.co/3xJw5vHvj5
A3 Follow up-remove seat time component for PD. Learning can occur anywhere now!
We did Eric Sheninger's Digital Leadership book for our C&I book study this year. I will check it out! https://t.co/22PVZGOyEm
I also shared What Connected Educators Do Differently - my copy gets borrowed a lot and passed around at schools
That is a terrible loss. They doubled my workload last year and the teachers need more, not less or no support
I'm planning to implement passion project with library students. Been researching they
Hallelujah! Where's the snakes!?
Or CE days w/ relevant PD :) https://t.co/XqnW3TKlhe
A4: Sharing and reflecting time too... and making CE days actually have PD :/
I offered PD during the year... I think my best attendance was 5...and I had 2 sessions with 0
I'll be happy to do a workshop. Your county has no SNE members, so let's try to get that set up.
teachers need agency just as students do
I liked them both! the Connected Educator one is more of a how-to and why for Ts, practical ideas and folks to follow
We had a CE day yesterday. MS level was just meetings for scheduling... boo
A4: Teachers allowed to plan their PD based on their needs. No one stop shop. Time to share, celebrate, and even discuss fails.
Problem is, when Ts get asked, they may say want they want and then not go :/
A5: Being back on Twitter will help. There is also a robust education subreddit I find very useful /r/education.
A5 Actually wrote a blog on this for next month. Twitter and blogging are my go-tos. Can't go without either!
A5: HUGE! Twitter and Voxer...Twitter has propelled so much of my PD! I know it will continue!
A5 Continue to use twitter and reach out to all teachers across WV
No, no, no! No snakes in this church! (How about cuddly puppies and kitties, instead?)
loving edweb and community
i liked it when we all met at like the civic center or RHS and we had a keynote and then sessions to pick from
oooh and lots of comfy pillows! I'll go there!
A5: Social media allows me to continue to build quality relationshps w/edus that support, encourage, uplift, & push me.
Check this out. You know I like to be first. Can we arrange this?

It’s not CE or PD though - it needs done | does not provide learning opport to Ts
Two from Cabell and two from Lincoln in RESA II. Terri wants us to be ambassadors for the Digital Library.
A5- Twiiter of course, but we have a strong school Facebook private group. I find a good education community on Google+ too
Yep exactly! Would have been better to determine what changes/PD would make S learning better!
Awesome! I did projects w/my tech aide students this past year. They saw it as their legacy to improve school
I presented it last year to my teachers but now I'm a librarian instead of a TIS
A5 a major role. Digging into and blogging more, maybe both at the same time connected to podcast listening
A5: twitter-twitter chats and conference followings. Will live stream conferences & key notes from events doing a lot of HGSE strms
A5 And speaking of blogs, if I don't have the link to yours, gimme!
librarian Facebook group and yammer group. Learning more about AASL
Oh I see. We'll have to talk more about this. It is a very useful resource.
I will miss using Yammer next year once I'm not in WV anymore :(
what's a tech aide student?
I work in a HS as a tech coach. our Ss are interns that help us support all the users and devices in our building
A5:Central Office and principals are modeling and engaging in social media (positive posts) to build buy in. Some are still leery.
I have something like this at my MS except they are tagged DSLs or Digital Student Leaders
Somewhere in VA. On the job hunt, but have my licensure!
A6 Get connected! And never stop learning or asking for help! :) Twitter, Voxer, Edcamps especially
the students are in a class for that? Way cool!
A6 Get connected, Get social, and share everything! Or else (okay maybe not that last part)
A6: Easy. "No profession works in isolation n the year 2016. Neither should you. Follow me & I'll intro u to some awsome edus."
A6: Ask questions, make time for yourself, join twitter chats, breathe, connect with your mentor, have fun, respect your students.
Yep! It's an elective for them. They are fabulous and we couldn't support our school without them!
A6: Don't reinvent the wheel. Tons of great lessons are online. Beg, borrow, and steal!
they seem more aggressive with tech support in va! Good luck
A6 Exciting time 2 b in ! Embrace it, engage/challenge Ss, from peers & PLNs & chg lives!
you do a good job of modeling. What can u offer them 2 try?3 ses. gets extra hour for lunch at princ meetings?

A6 Technology embrace it!
A6: Also, get organized...FAST
A6-Technology should be integrated seamlessly into what you do. It is not a slot in your day, nor a dumping ground to put students
A6 Part III: And don't worry. You didn't ruin the children forever because the lesson didn't go as planned.

I wish KCS wasn't so far away
Hey I sent emails to your county super & a few others. Included online resume.
I keep spreading the word. Wish more from our county would get on board
Between and tonight I think both nearly killed me trying to keep up! Both were way active!
This was refreshing. The end of the year is such a blitz, it's nice to sit down and talk to great teachers. Buenos noches!
how can we get librarians doing this? I did a schoology chat last week awesome
Good night, everyone! I hope all of our counties have safe graduations in the coming weeks! You all are awesome educators!
