Glad and blessed to be here.

Kelly, Principal Pre-K - 5, NJ hello
-
A1: I haven't used Plicker yet but several teachers in my school are exploring it.
-
A1: Never used Plickers, but interested in listening to everyone's responses
-
-
A1: The feature that I liked the best was the cards are easy to make
-
A2: it seems like a great formative assessment tool
-
-
how did you adjust the lesson after this response?
-
powerful tool for on the spot lesson adjustments!
-
-
-
-
A3: I primarily use Plickers as a formative assessment tool. It's great and can be used with ease. https://t.co/zYvpwufKtF
-
for ELA I guess it could be used to check vocabulary or recall of parts of a story.
-
-
-
A4: Some ppl argue that it's not a good formative tool. My principal is big on exit tickets which I dislike.
-
some put a code on the back for students as a reminder
-
-
Exit tickets reinforce the lesson, but they don't mean anything if they're done without follow-up next time:)
-
A5: This is my issue. The cards get torn or bend. I need a way to reinforce my plickers cards.
-
A5: maybe laminating or printing on card stock could help w/ durability and having a second set for each student
-
-
Never forget it's a tool, not the teacher
