A#1 #LaEdChat@lacueorg provides networking opportunities - a chance to exchange ideas with others through the organization events (like twitter chats) I hear there is a really good chat coming up soon on Literature and Makerspaces ;)
A1: @lacueorg not only provides me with GREAT PD opportunities but also gives me a opportunities to connect with my #LAEDCHAT PLN both locally and across the state!
A#1 @lacueorg provides an opportunity to share with and learn from other educators from our state on ways to use technology throughout the district. #LaEdChat
A1: LACUE is a chance for me to network with other educators, and a way to find new ways to use tech that I already have and new things that I don't use. I always come back with something I can use right away. #LAedchat
LaCue has provided many opportunities or me to learn more about using tech in the class, allows for collaboration time with others from across the state, and a place where I can share what I am doing to see if it can help others. #LaEdChat@lacueorg
A1) @lacueorg is like our local #ISTE ! 🤗 I love the opportunities to network and glean from other techies across the state! Plus, I get to share my passion for presenting tips, tricks & tools I've learned over time! Not to mention webinars + a mini vacay to NOLA!😉 #LaEdChat
A1– I am actually looking into getting more involved with @lacueorg I don’t know much about it and I would like to learn more about what it provides and how! #LaEdChat Thats y im here!
👋 everyone! Lisa from Minden jumping in late. Excited to read the #LaEdChat stream and hopefully participate a little before hitting the road #dontTweetandDrive
A2: Continuing with the Twitter chats and the local #LACUE mini regional conferences. Maybe adding some play dates in each region where educators come together to exchange ideas in an informal setting such as a Coffee Meet and Greet, or an Idea Exhcange Day at a school. #LaEdChat
A2) I'd love to see MORE frequent webinars with new and innovative technologies and maybe even a mobile @lacueorg 🚍🚗🚚 to visit select schools with tools on the bus! Maybe even a follow-up chat w/the most popular presenters. 🤔 #LaEdChat
A2: More great webinars to stay abreast of technology developments. Also more information about aligning activities with ISTE and Louisiana Tech Readiness Standards. #LAEDCHAT@lacueorg
A3: @AngelaL102223 and I think we should do a Twitter help desk to work with people who'd like to start chatting. I'd like to see more social studies and tech sessions. (I do love my SS.) #LaEdchat
A3: Besides the keynoter, spotlight speakers, incredible sessions, and the makerspace playground, maybe we could try Ignite Sessions, an EdcampLACUE experience, and Round Table discussion sessions. @lacueorg#LaEdChat
Hey #LaEdChat friends! Other conferences have taken my PD days for a while, but I would love to get back to @lacueorg and connect with more Louisiana educators! LACUE was the first conference I presented and has a special place in my ❤️!
We are pumping up the volume on the exhibit hall this year... great things planned... makerspaces, creativity areas, esports, etc.!! More to come! #LaEdChat@lacueorg
Good ideas! You need to give me more info on the ignite sessions!!! We are going to do something similar to Round Table discussions! #LaEdChat@lacueorg
A3. This is a TOUGH ONE! The @lacueorg really does a GREAT JOB with the conference! Maybe adding a scavenger hunt or "Amazing Race" style game like @GooseChaseEDU so that attendees could accomplish tasks to earn points... Hmm... Tough question #LAEDCHAT
A#3 Try asking for presenters earlier to get a variety. Districts could then get Ts using the technology in the classroom with fidelity to present. It is not about pumping technology into classes. It is about S learning that takes place. @lacueorg#LaEdChat
A3) The follow-up email confirmations are a little tricky. It's tough to tell if you already replied or didn't at all. There should also be a link online to upload presenter resources and access sessions. Minor kinks from @lacueorg 18 #LaEdChat
A4: I am a huge fan of @playfanschool and Fantasy Geopolitics-kids use an interactive map and site to track news and draft countries in fantasy game. Make trades, compete, MVP Games, engagement! @lacueorg#LaEdChat
A4: I am just tryingto build an Ed tech community in Rapides. Tonight was our first teachers talk session. No agenda, tonight’s topic was robotics in the classroom. #LaEdChat
A4) This is an awesome resource! Imagine this kind of database! What about recording presentations at future @lacueorg and uploading them here?!🤔 #LaEdChat
Hey #LaEdChat friends! Other conferences have taken my PD days for a while, but I would love to get back to @lacueorg and connect with more Louisiana educators! LACUE was the first conference I presented and has a special place in my ❤️!
A5: How I teach using using a blended learning style in 5th grade, how I became 1:1 through @DonorsChoose. how I became a connected educator, how I use @Seesaw and @edmodo with my students, and more. #LaEdChat@lacueorg
News literacy is a big topic that I’ve been speaking on a lot recently...looking at the news landscape and the way students get their news (on Snapchat) is so important! #laedchat
A2- I think as coming from someone who doesn’t know a lot about @lacueorg that it needs to be advertised more to teachers. I had no clue that it even existed until last yr when @behlacy09 told me! #LaEdChat
In reply to
@Drtamssen, @lacueorg, @lacueorg, @behlacy09
A3: What about live streaming some of the @lacueorg sessions? Or recording them for a later playback? So many of our teachers can't get to the conference in person. #LaEdChat
A#5 At the Teacher Conference I presented "Work Smarter Not Harder' and I think that I will continue to update that presentation with Quick Tip helps for Google Updates, etc. @lacueorg#LaEdChat Everything changes so fast!
This is a great one!! I've been taking some of the 'Is this a real news story?' quizzes and gotten bitten more than a few times, like https://t.co/9naJkbPc2H#LaEdChat@lacueorg

A6: We can all help bring recognition to our @lacueorg by adding it in all of our education related posts on SM - Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. Also use the #LaEdChat hashtag.
A5: Fan Geo, maybe you noticed I was into that. But also using tech to enrich and extend and engage our higher learners; I'd love to do/see more about Renzulli learning. @lacueorg#LaEdChat
A6: I think we need to get the word out about how great @lacueorg is for collaboration and a resource finder. I’ll have tho think about how to do that #LaEdChat
A6: is there a reason the schools aren't putting this out to staff? Admin should LOVE for teachers to know about these opportunities! @lacueorg#LaEdChat
A6: If everyone who participated in #LaEdChat made a plan to get educators in their respective area together for an informal #edtech idea exchange or play date (to try out some tools and ideas) that would be incredible. @lacueorg
Before we close out... everyone like this or reply with your handle so we can all follow each other! This is been an extrordinary group... we represent the ENTIRE state and our great friend from up north, Tre!!! #LaEdChat@lacueorg
A6: At conferences, a lot of collaboration happens in the app, but then it is lost and not available to others who can't make it. Maybe transitioning towards Twitter lets people who can't come to the conferences get plugged in #LaEdChat@lacueorg
I want to thank everyone for an extraordinary first #LaEdChat@lacueorg! It is going to be a great 2019! We have a great lineup! Up next, is @sgauthier! Don't forget to go back and follow all of your new and old friends!! Thanks everyone! #LAUCEPROUD
A1: I don’t think I’ve been to LaCue in several years.. but I think it’s a great way to network and share! And of course expand our teacher toolbox. Our tech department has shared wonderful things from lacue that we value and implement! @lacueorg#LaEdchat
