Q1 What were some good things that were a part of the No Child Left Behind Law?

A1 Focused attention on gaps within & between various demographics/subgroups

A1 NCLB helped to establish the common core. negatives aside, at least it set some common standards as a starting point.

Q3 will require the use of non-academic measures (i.e. climate surveys) to document a school’s effectiveness. Is this fair?

A2 It will take time for the ramifications of this new law to be understood since states will have more flexibility in inactment

A3:Absolutely!You always need to survey the stakeholders in a school to improve. Feedback is always needed to improve as a school.

There is a massive push to increase STEM in schools across the US. I am extremely hopeful what this means
