I would pump up my classroom library, and get some more comfortable seating. We have chrome books, so maybe some fun arts and crafts materials? I like to keep the "arts" in Language Arts. Oh, and Broadway Play tickets! #bfc530

With unlimited funds, I wouldn’t necessarily buy more resources...I would like more planning time with my educator team...feeling like we could benefit greatly by having more time to do more intensive, regular reflecting and planning together. #bfc530

Yes! Love this! My son's 2nd grade teacher had them write books and publish them. They were Hard cover and kids did their own artwork. My son was so proud to read his book to adults who came for the author visit:) We still have it of course!

Funding for program that starts teacher recruitment or interest in field. in the Ss population. The future teachers are there. They need to be called out. #BFC530
I agree, Chris. It isn't about resources - materials and things, it is how we compensate and use the human capital we have. I'd restructure the school day and reimagine how we use what we already have. Operation costs would go up #bfc530

I used a grant for kindles in my last school. The kids hated them! They like to see when the end of the chapter is coming. I was so surprised because I figured anything tech would be up their alley, but it was a flop. #bfc530

I would likely use my unlimited funds to fill my classroom library with lots of new books. However, after attending a nat’l conf. this month and talking to many Ts, I think I’d also want to fund a pot of $ so that Ts could attend high quality PD outside their districts #bfc530

With unlimited funds in my classroom, I'd turn part of my room into a lounge. Flexible seating, different textures, a space dedicated to relaxing, and a reward not just for the "good" kids but those who need that space for their spirit.
