A1: I am most proud of the relationships that I was able to build at a new campus this year. I have met and gotten to know some amazing educators, and we are opening the door for great learning experiences.

A1 Provided support, lessons, and ongoing PD to reduce staff vulnerability to phishing and other cyber attacks by 93%. Keeping our staff and students safe. #infosec#edtech#makeitreal
A1: I’ve started using Twitter. Been a great tool to showcase students and classroom happenings. I’m doing a better job with my athletes. Want to make more academic connections! #MakeItReal
A1 I was a technology coach this year. I've been in the classroom for 29 years and I wasn't sure I would know how to coach but I feel like I accomplished so much! The best part of being a coach was learning from the Ts & watching the Ss benefit from the experience #MakeItReal
A2: I wanted to do more projects with my 6th grade Ss, but they needed more help on how to work together. I have spent more time making class relaxed and a place where they want to be. I don’t regret it. #MakeItReal
A2 Be more successful in implementing VR/AR at various grade levels. Havent found the magic implementation of #edtech that is easy enough to implement in a classroom to the positive benefit of the students. #edtech has to be 1 teacher friendly! #makeitreal
#MakeItReal A2) we have an #edcamp period in our school, and I really wanted to do something with coding, never pulled it off....but there is still a couple of weeks

We recently did a Zoom session with an interesting author that we have several books in our library. *she happens to live in my hometown. @ckmcclafferty

A2: I wanted to start a student tech squad at one of my campuses, but it didn't quite happen. The good news is that there are definite plans for it to come to fruition next year with @tyork0923@MMSMesquite1#mmsbelieves

A2: This year we tried to make community service more of a focus at my school. Although my group successfully did one outreach activity. I wished we could have done more. I’m still hoping that we squeeze something in. #MakeItReal
We've had some great demos and use cases at our Technology Summit (shameless plug https://t.co/Gfqq1F0lor ) but it takes practice or super easy #edtech and I haven't found the magic combo yet! #MakeItReal
A2 I did not read enough professional books! I need to make time for myself so I can grow as a Tech coach and provide more opportunities for the students and teachers I work with every day. #MakeItReal
#MakeItReal A2 - I want to do more specific goal setting with my students and implement more Individual Learning Plans. It was a little too much to bite off this year with all of my other changes.
@codeorg has some amazing FREE curriculum that is already in lesson plan format. They offer both plugged and unplugged activities that are leveled for K-7 students. Check it out! #MakeItReal
I'm interested in hearing more about how this goes---such a shift in culture, scheduling. I've tried a few times here. Takes leadership & commitment. #dcsdnv#MakeItReal

A3 A great part of my role as #techdir is I can make a huge difference during the summer - prepping and figuring out how to make VR a reality for the new school year will be an excellent challenge for those super hot days! #makeitreal
Yes! For me, it also takes a willing staff member on campus to be the central point of contact. @tyork0923 is planning to expand the job of library aide to a more skills focused position where students learn tech troubleshooting skills. It will be a work in progress! #MakeItReal

A3 now that I have a solid year of coaching under my belt I can better schedule my time to include building my PLN providing PD opportunities for staff completing my paperwork and saving time for myself to grow as a coach #MakeItReal
A3: Connect with other teachers using technology and seeing how they use it. We’re a one to one building so I’m doing it I just want to be better! #MakeItReal
A3 - I need to come up with a goal setting tool for my students and decide upon what data to use to inform the discussions. I should also have a format for my individual learning plans by the end of the summer as well. #MakeItReal
A3: My Ss have learned how to work together in groups, but I want to really solidify this. Good math doesn’t happen in isolation. I need to work more at teaching Ss how to work together. Do more modeling. #MakeitReal
Indeed, it does. I wonder if they are still in business? A lot of companies try to implement cool things but aren't successful because the hardware isn't ready yet... #edtech#MakeItReal
A2: I wish that I would have done more with some new technology tools I have learned and giving them to kids to explore. Fear and lack of constantly available technology held me back. #MakeItReal
Awesome! You and @HuckMath should compare notes. Student self assessment and goal setting is something she has worked on this year as well. She teaches 8th grade Algebra #makeitreal#mmsbelieves
A3: for the summer I plan to really revamp my curriculum. I have already made plans to collaborate with a colleague (he is ready to make is fresh and relevant)! I will also be completing my master’s degree! Busy but exciting! #MakeItReal
Loving how much I am learning by being buds with @MKuniya! You make me and our district better. Excited for what is to come... #MakeItReal#dcsdlrnr#dcsdnv
@Blended_Math thank you for hosting tonight’s chat. It has helped me get one step closer to my goal of improving my use of authentic technology! #MakeItReal
