I always saw each subject separate, couldn't make connections among content area.

A1. I had to Google it, to tell you that yes students need to understand math concepts and be flexible in which ones they apply NCTM
A1: to me Deep means "thoroughly" and flexible means the S can apply knowledge of the concept in a variety of situations.

I struggled from the beginning. Was told by my 5th grade Math T, I would never be good at math and I believed her.

Same here. It was easy and boring. So I majored in the subject that was hardest for me.

Students should develop conjectures either alone or in a group. I prefer a group bc that means there was peer discussion.

Struggling w/math, even when not super successful, makes brain more efficient. Exercises it. Helps it store info more efficiently.

A7: There are a lot of letters in math. I think I could make some words from those and communicate pretty well.
A7: Students need to be able to answer and JUSTIFY their answer with evidence. But this is across the board, not math specific.
Still waiting on to provide a rational idea as to how one could rationally do such a thing.
