Q1 I’m sharing a new update to the Insight Heart app by @animares. The app uses #ARKit2 technology to put a body in your space. How can this be beneficial in a classroom? #ARVRinEDU
Hello #ARVRinEDU chat! Kim, EdTech from Texas. I think the best AR interactions are ones that create immersive experiences by making a content connections.
#ARVRinedu Geoff Derry here from KL, tech coach and creator of https://t.co/KYAVBxnNxl my kids and students love the Merge cube. So much fun and now possibilities for creation as well

Mike from NY checking into #ARVRinEDU. Just updated to iOS12 today. The new screen time feature is neat. I set a timer for Twitter so if it boots me off, it was me trying to be responsible :)
Anything that keeps the student engaged and informed after the initial ‘Wow’ factor wears off. Integrating AR into a lesson as an enhancement to the lesson may stir student lead discussion which is always a plus IMO. #ARVRinEDU
A1 I have not used all updated features but I like that you can place Anatomy in space then walk around it, allowing more students to see it from device, I have projected this app as well in front of class #ARVRinEDU
object viewer, now getting kids to create in Digg and my kids love things for Merge cube but would love my students to create stories like 57 degrees north #ARVRinEdu

Q3: Now we’ll get down to the “nitty gritty” of #ARKit2. The option to view in a collaborated #AR experience is vital! How can this transform the traditional #ARVRinEDU experiences? @animares
A2 viewingthe heart in this app is b far best 3D model and simulation I’ve seen, thanks to some of the #medical team that helped @ZGJR I love that you can see more intricate moment in the chambers through contraction, it’s very accurate great teaching tool #ARVRinEDU
Q4 Did you know the Insight Heart app works with the Apple Watch to show your heart rate? WOW! What can we expect from this type of technology in the future? #ARVRinEDU@animares
A1: Apps like Insight Heart from l @animares let students have an interactive experience which elevated their learning from just a static activity- it brings that personal connection #ARVRinEDU
A3 have not tried yet but I imagine having multiple students evaluate the same model, from their own perspective would be valuable in my #careerteched class #ARVRinEDU
A3 Most quality tech integration I see in classrooms involves collaboration. The best tools lend themselves to this. This part of the 4 Cs is key for learning. I think it levels up the interaction and will help trigger deeper conversation. #ARVRinEDU

A2: Sometimes bringing an abstract concept or an unseen idea to life can make a connection that couldn’t otherwise be made- being able to really see it makes a big difference. #seeingisbelieving#ARVRinEDU

A2: The student has the potential to absorb more of the info than she or he realizes. Today’s students have all the info possible available on their smart phones & are accustomed to technology. This takes away the plastic models & offers a realistic interactive view. #ARVRinEDU
A3: Collaboration brings a vital skill for life to the table, and the ability to have collaborative #AR experiences will allow students to share ideas experiences and knowledge #alrightstopcollaborate@animares#ARVRinEDU
The only FDA approved device of it's kind AND it tracks falls so if you have elderly that need monitoring, you can add that to the benefits of using an #AppleWatch. #ARVRinEDU
Great that apps are starting to make these connections We will soon have a little portable medical device on us tracking more than heart rate, ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and a camera that can allow for quick collaboration & evaluation by medical staff #ARVRinEDU
A4 Who knows after real time heart rate- maybe bring more real time vitals, weather, live events, real time holograms of people- #itscoming#ARVRinEDU@animares
plus the number one killer for women is heart disease it will be interesting to see the medical impact of these watches over the next several years #arvrinedu
A3: Collaboration in #AR is the next natural progression of the technology. I believe that effective use of it in this and future apps will bring more even people into the realm of ‘I can do that with my class’ mentality when it comes to this tech. #ARVRinEDU
Don’t miss #ARVRinEDU next week as we have #ARVRinEDULive!!! Great discussions with developers & teachers. Special thanks to our sponsor of the event, @MergeVR.
With our #ARVRinEDU product @Chrono_Quest we're currently working on a feature set that will allow teachers to share augments between accounts for social studies education. We're looking for social studies teachers interested in betatesting for us. -@chrisgaughan

A4: Potentially a student (or other students in the group of working in collaboration with each other) could see her or his heartbeat at rest, then compare/contrast it after say doing 5 jumping jacks or running in place, etc. Seeing real time data makes an impression. #ARVRinEDU
A5: Something end user friendly that allows the teacher or students to create their own #AR projects or experience. Our art teachers have 3rd-5th grade students doing green screen and stop motion clay projects right now. They would love to do an AR project. #ARVRinEDU
