A1: Also depends highly on how their child's teacher uses it. Is it effective? Has it helped their student learn? Changes things.
Agreed chromecarts have been great. Need to get student emails to help with monitoring student use.
A1: It's "new." A lot of times the fear is that technology is replacing "traditional" education.
Q2: How do you seek and encourage a team approach in your school? How do you monitor and move work being done by a team?
we use gmail accounts with school domain. Has been great, allows us to use Google classroom & other apps
We are looking into that if the cost is right!
A2: We're a team, I listen a lot and focus on "we" and "our."
A2) P1- Empower the staff in the decision making process. P2 - Leadership team meetings (all staff invited) & trust in staff

A4 Areas of focus should be grounded in S learning needs, Ts areas of strength and needs, SIP goals, and district vision.
A4: Collaboratively review data with Ts at end of year. Helps plan for the next year. They have ideas I wouldn't think of
A4) Ask the staff what their educational goals & needs are at the beginning, middle, and end of the year. Then plan as a team.
A4: love that every answer so far has been about talking to staff. I'd + that we should be talking to Ss and Ps too. Full picture

https://t.co/LD561erJRB
Q5:The buck stops with you…how do you recognize/react when a decision is required?
A5 Ground decisions in beliefs/mission/goals. Take time to listen & share rationale. People want to know why, not just what/how.
Wisdom! I learned hard way that farther from the classroom u move the more time u should take to make decisions
Always good to keep 1 foot in the classroom so you don't lose sight of thinking like a teacher.
A5: I wish I was quicker w/ my decisions but I go back to the question does it align to our culture?
give pause before ANY decision Help your staff see you will take the heat"That's y u make the big bucks" https://t.co/Tzy4gxrBkB
