A2: I always use equity cards to call on Ss and to write down small personal things about them. So I remember them as individuals

A2B:Absolutely, I absorbed all sorts of things from them. Mainly be yourself, be positive and make everything a learning situation

A2: good classroom management requires listening to the students and acknowledging positive behavior more than correcting behavior

A2b: One told me to do everything I do well. Don't just try and then move on. Learn it, in and out, then do it.

A2b continued: Mr. Glenn 11th grade history inspired me to be a teacher. Also he taught the class how to protest

A3: HS students are very fun. Ts need to lighten up & bring joy into the classroom. Let Ss stretch their minds, hearts & souls.

A3: They don't all fit a prescribed box, they are individuals and should always be treated as so.

Final thoughts: Programs don't teach children. Teachers teach children. Don’t get stuck in the teachers glossary & program notes.

A3b: Inspiring stories from around the world and tv all make me want to be better and show my Ss that hurdles can be cleared.
