A3 creating open-ended learning spaces where Ss can chase the learning goals their interested in
A2 - I've drastically changed the spacing/zones in my new library. That alone has created new opportunities.
It's worth taking a couple of areas to really grow your skills intentionally so not so overwhelming
A2 Empowering Ss as creators- We talk of digital tools as instruments of productivty. Strive to teach digital literacy so they soar.
A.2 Planning 4 collaborative work = Brava 4 ur library redesign.
A3: Become more of a facilitator and share the teaching experience w/ your Ss. Provide guidance w/ more PBL activities.
But we do have to take charge of our own growth
Bathrooms, story corner, outdoor garden, steam/sci labs, art area, green screen, movable shelves, imagination area
A3 I think PBL, genius hour, tech clubs, etc. Try lots of ways to let the students lead!
And libs don't assume Ss know how to use tech to learn
A3: We created a badging system for skills utilizing Google Classroom. Ss get to choose what, when and how to complete.
SUPER important to get out of library to make sure the library stays relevant to campus needs

A4-Building community partnerships is my goal
Gave interview today to our Ss newspaper about the lib touching every content area. Anti-silo=grt term
A4: to collaborate more with teachers and PLC teams and continue to renovate spaces for learning

A4: I'm planning on adjusting our web presence using "user-centered design."
A4: Many of our goals are under the umbrella of CONNECTING (curriculum, teachers, classes, students, tools, ideas)
A4Community partnerships,I want the community to feel there responsible for our Ss, I want our Ss to feel they answer to community.
A4 Use of space/time. Redesigning the area in our library so learning is more natural/relaxed, comfortable.
A4: I want to create more meaningful collaborative partnerships with the teachers at my campus.
A4: I'm in a different role this year, but my goal is still leading beyond the library. Putting myself out there is scary
How do you plan to do that?
Yep!!! If we aren't in charge of our own growth, our path is left up to chance! https://t.co/UJLfcllN5y
But we do have to take charge of our own growth
Love how this ties it all together. https://t.co/hKTCZ5fwte

If this isn't , I don't know what is! https://t.co/JJ4scD9gY2
A14: Proactive: spend more time as a "proactive" classroom embedded librarian instead of as a "reactive" concierge librarian.
Yes, sometimes educators forget we are all connected!!! No islands! https://t.co/026jaIEwuv
A4: Many of our goals are under the umbrella of CONNECTING (curriculum, teachers, classes, students, tools, ideas)
You are an inspiration! https://t.co/jOzZ8SPqrU
A4: I'm in a different role this year, but my goal is still leading beyond the library. Putting myself out there is scary
I was wondering the same thing? Student input?
Personally I'm learning how to lead for libraries and librarians, while not having my own library. Empower! https://t.co/5ZUJdcMHtB
A4: I'm in a different role this year, but my goal is still leading beyond the library. Putting myself out there is scary
Yes. Thank you. I've been trying to figure out how to say that! https://t.co/rt7qXRSPJ6
A3 Makerspaces & a research shift to Guided Inquiry - both give students power & choice in what & how they learn

A5 Being available for planning sessions, support instruction, teach the teachers new skills so they can pass those on to Ss.
is so good at this! She now asks for Ts to bring her in for any info searching, not just research.
All educators must be future ready! We need to look ahead. What kind of world will our students live in?
A5-share what you are doing, "the why" behind it, use the language
Let me know how it goes!!!

Yes 2 admin support 4 - We are resp. 2 help principals understand just how 2 help
Q5: communicating information through emails, newsletters, and website
A5 lead by example, collaborate, offer ur skills up constantly, seriously, Ts have a hard time asking for help.
It will have to begin with me being available at their planking so that I know what to offerNd then meet needs
I LOVE visiting classrooms just as an observer. Helps me understand how I can better support
A5: Be thoughtful and amplify the voices of your teachers! Help connect students with the resources they need!
A5: I think a lot has to do w/ attitude. A "yeah, let's do this!" is different than "how can I help?" "Us" vs. "you" (and my help)
