A1: Teaching your Ss with all your heart and soul. Putting passion into every aspect of your teaching. Creating a caring, loving and respectful environment for all to learn #ADWteach
A1: Teaching with the heart means doing what’s best for students and surrounding yourself with people who want the whole child to be successful #ADWteach ❤️
Teaching with heart means taking the journey with the students: leading sometimes but stepping aside too so they can explore and take risks. Be the prodder and the safety net. ❤️#ADWteach
A.2 On the simplest levels, I make a point of telling my co-workers that I appreciate them. I enjoy telling students when they "make my day" with their accomplishments. #ADWteach
A4: When I taught 3rd grade, they loved my library & reading corner. As tech teacher, there wasn’t much space for creativity & limited resources. They enjoyed the computers and various projects. However, I wish I had space for a Makerspace, they would have loved that! #ADWteach
A6: if this job was easy, everyone would do it! It takes a special individual to become a teacher. Just like we teach our Ss it’s okay to fail, we learn best from our experiences. It’s what makes us better at what we do. #ADWteach
A.3 We have a Saint Peregrine prayer wall in the back of my classroom (Patron Saint/Cancer) with the names of family and friends who are cancer patients. It reminds me not to sweat the small stuff. #ADWteach
A7: The last “Catholic Schools Matter” with @KristinBMelley was awesome. The points on leadership formation and the true difference needed in Catholic education resonated with me @mtcathschools@NCEATALK#adwteach
Can’t thank you enough @SciOrlandi for this great topic! I’m so impressed with all that was shared this evening. @ADWCathSchools sure does have some amazing educators! Please join me on 2/7/18 for our next #ADWTeach chat! 😊
