I am an intervention teacher so my students needed a word wall that they could take with them back to their class, @padlet was the only thing that made sense to use, we are 1:1 so they carry their word wall with them wherever they go #MakeItReal
A2-#makeitreal we just used it last week with teachers-sharing ideas about how we talk to students about our district's profile of a learner--collaborating in real time
A2: All of these new updates will really allow my Ss and myself to push our limits of creativity in finding uses in our learning and innovating. I can see PD uses as well for when I teach Ts. #MakeItReal

It's a GREAT tool for teacher collaboration. Teachers I work with love it because...really...look at their office/desk space. It's covered in sticky notes! @padlet is their jam! #MakeItReal
A2: My students are not sit and get learners, so the voting, liking, and video features take the lesson and makes it interactive, and it also bridges their home and school life by giving it the social media feel that they use day and night #MakeItReal
A2b: The thing to remember is to not look at each update to be used as it was originally designed. To be innovative, you must see new uses for those tools that weren't originally thought of by the designers. #MakeItReal
I love the redo idea. IT shows teachers that they're receiving a "final draft" from kids, which means that they revised and reflected on their thoughts in real time! #MakeItReal
Exactly! I love seeing the things like the Profanity filter and using it as a way to write stories! How can students rewrite based on emoji placement? #MakeItReal
Q3: The new features and changes model a #growthmindset and focus on feedback from teachers. How can you use the new @Padlet features as a tool to foster #growthmindset in your students?

A3: Like i mentioned with the video upload..students reflect and revise in real time. They're modeling that mistakes can be learned from and built upon! #MakeItReal
Time zones or even just everyday schedules. I love live collaborations on Skype or GHO but asynchronous with something like Padlet or Flipgrid open up different opportunities. #MakeItReal
A3: For one, updates in general show Ss that we don't all do things perfectly the first time. We need to release new versions of our products as we continually revise and improve. We listen to feedback. #MakeItReal
A3: Everything can be improved upon.....allow students to make a wishlist of things they wish the program could do, and submit it to @padlet, maybe their suggestions would be the next roll out. #MakeItReal
A3: With posts, videos, likes, comments and backchannels, students and teachers have many ways to model #growthmindset. Be positive, support learning, all visible to the group! #MakeItReal
A3: In the mean time allow students to reflect on how these new features make the program better...... allow them to compare to things in their life that they improved upon, or help them create a plan for something that they would like to improve upon #MakeItReal
A3 How about students having personal Padlets? They can continue to add their work, projects, reflections, etc. to “document” their growth. It’ll help them see their own growth and build confidence in their ability to achieve. #MakeItReal
Great idea! it's a fantastic personal location for thoughts, ideas, reflections, and kind of a diary. Maybe that's it. Students create a @padlet diary of their school time! #MakeItReal
A3: I see @padlet being used as pre and post tool...Ss post what they know about a concept before learning the content and revisit the padlet at the end of the lesson for reflection purposes. #UMedTech#EDL577Um#makeitreal

A3; Students could use @padlet to chart their progress on a problematic standard through the year, their own personal portfolio I guess you could call it #MakeItReal
