I've been to #OCCUE Tech Fest a couple of times. They do a good job! It's hard to hear the keynote speaker in that gym, but that's a minor quibble!

I love our idea of "presenter workshops" for members, helping with CUE/FallCUE applications. We just have to work out the timing...

That's more or less what we do. I made a mistake last year of assuming that new board members knew more than they actually did. It'll go better this year!

Written job descriptions tend to set things in stone, though. If we're moving locations every three years, not sure how useful that is.

A6 We have partnered with OCDE because the current president is an employee. Their support is a meeting location which works out well for most. #cuechat
Meeting locations can be so tricky. We are spread out, and then our board homes are even more spread out! Never realized how large San Diego was until I tried to get 11 ppl together! haha #WeAreCUE#CUEAffiliates#cuechat
I know @SanDiego_CUE has partnered with SDSEA in the past, which has sometimes worked and sometimes hasn't. They were in a bit of a trough for a while, but seem to be coming out of it...
