Please share with other AR using teachers!
Michael from @KnoxGifted and @KGA6th in Chandler, AZ. I remember getting lost in the woods and finding an a-frame house, “breaking” in, and pooping on the porch. Favorite memory? Poop stories are always memorable. #ARVRinEDU
Hey #arvrinedu! Urbie, learning experience designer.. childhood story? My first foray into hobo jungle around 10 yo.. Roger, Johnny n me in the olive groves next to the Santa Fe switching yard.. Oh my!
Q1: Here’s a #VR story for you to explore! Watch the Invasion story and share how this is different than a traditional 2D story? #ARVRinEDUhttps://t.co/SQvjJkoXJZ
That's quite a memorable story, Michael 🤣 I hope you share that with students LOL #ARVRinEDU
I was going more for bedtime stories, but that one works much better
Although I do remember when my parents got me a cookie monster cake for my birthday in 6th grade, it was big and blue, white giant icing eyes and a huge chocolate chip cookie in his mouth #arvrinedu
A1: #VR stories like this add another level of immersion for student learning they are physically interacting with the content which leads to a greater sense of connection #ARVRinEDU
Q2: Here’s a new resource but it’s only an #ARKit app, so only newer Apple devices work. Download or get a peek and share what you think stories in your space changes your experience. #ARVRinEDUhttps://t.co/2lDFqMMjIh
A1: Stories like these are more interactive, & make the audience feel more apart of the film as they are always looking around to see what will happen next. I can only imagine what Alfred Hitchcock would have created with this type of technology. #ARVRinEDU
A1 - Gives a deeper understanding to point of view. What is first person in a #VR story? Can you create second person #VR stories? Is this what Invasion is? #ARVRinEDU@baobabstudios
I really like that @baobabstudios is creating more #AR stories using #ARKit because it means our stories will truly COME ALIVE in our classrooms. #ARVRinEDU

Learned about this today and am looking forward to exploring the story! Promptly went to Walmart and bought every one of the @MergeVR cubes they had and a personal VR headset. Need to figure out how to 'navigate' in VR still. #ARVRinEDU
Mitzi 6th grade science Louisiana Favorite stories were told by grandmother in French. A1 Love the interactive stories. It is like reading a book and being inside of it. #ARVRinEDU
There are definitely some scary stories out there, but I tend to keep those at bay. 1. I may be sharing with elementary educators, and 2. I'm so scared of those movies now. Never use to be. Crazy #ARVRinEDU
Q4 I’m a huge fan of the @Storyfab_App because it allows you to create a movie using #AR. What kind of stories could your students create to demonstrate knowledge? #ARVRinEDU
A3: ❤️ @Mighty_Coconut 57North! and the @MergeVR cube so much! Experiences like these for students is priceless and the option to interact, create, or change storylines lets student’s flex creativity and critical thinking skills while still having fun! #ARVRinEDU
So great, Michael! I love that you can watch the stories over and over and it's a different experience each time AND every student can view what they find interesting. #ARVRinEDU
#ARVRinEDU Just downloaded the Merge app 57 degree and thought the ELA teachers just finished reading Hatchet and this would be a great follow up. Making choices!
So true! Stories are an important part of education and life. Sharing a story is powerful and helps connect content with life. #ARVRinEDU is important!
Serving a healthcare audience I can see it as a low-fidelity (compared to manikins & hospital simulators) experience as a 101 or 201 experience before upper division #arvrinedu
That's fantastic, Todd! I usually don't use a viewer with #AR unless I am using the #MergeCubes because it's hard to hold and watch and rotate. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. #ARVRinEDU
A4 - Think about all the ancient practices we continue to this day. Imagine #VR to tell stories about a science fair project? Imagine book reports - does anyone even do those anymore? Country reports. #ARVRinEDU
A5 I cannot pick just 1, so @cospaces_edu and @MetaverseApp for the win, my Ss in #STEAM have created really awesome spaces and experiences, totally impressed with what they have created #arvrinedu

@JaimeDonally, @cospaces_edu, @MetaverseApp
A4: @Storyfab_App is so FAB!!! Students can not only demonstrate knowledge but use it as a way to reflect- also a good creative way for students who may be shy to express themselves “out loud” #ARVRinEDU
Very true! The software is once again pushing the limits of the hardware. Exciting stuff, but hard to sustain in education with our tight budgets! We are running into this with the AR version of #googleexpeditions and having older kits now. #ARVRinEDU

@Rdene915, @JaimeDonally, @Storyfab_App
A5: I like Animals4D app from @octagon_studio because Ss hold animals in their hands, read about them in app and launch into research or plan a zoo trip to see the animals #arvrinedu
#arvrinedu Just a reminder to take part in my student’s short survey on AR in the classroom. This is part of a class project at TAMU-K. This project has been reviewed by the IRB. You can access the survey at the link below:

I love #Google SpotLight Stories! My daughters do as well! They have watched many of them multiple times as you can miss things in a 360 story. #ARVRinEdu
A5: Even #AR and #VR apps that (at least this time) don’t have a creation or storytelling piece can be enhanced by good old fashioned #AppSmashing#ARVRinEDU
I'm not gonna lie, I've had a hard time with #GoogleExpeditions from the start. The $10K price tag when first announced two years ago was a real shocker. #ARVRinEDU

@elawson1977, @Rdene915, @Storyfab_App
A3: growing up the #Goosebumps “Choose your own adventure” were some of my fav stories. This reminds me of that! I would love to see how computational thinking could be developed through an understanding of question, outcomes and actions. #everyonecancode#ARVRinEDU
Hi #ARVRinEDU friends! Love the topic of storytelling with VR. Have you watched the VR Google Spotlight Stories? They can inspire, build empathy, etc. https://t.co/q0p61qyTFS Rain or Shine is one of my faves. :) watch in VR mode with goggles for the best experience. #edtech#VR
I almost included Google Spotlight Stories but decided to include some others this time. I really like them except for the Simpsons content LOL #ARVRinEDU
A4: this app looks wonderful! I hate to use the term #mixedreality but I could see huge potential for Ss interacting with their objects - excellent way to develop their creativity. We do it with puppets, projector displays, and green screen already! Now for #AR 😁#ARVRinEDU
A5: definitely my new favorite #storytelling tool for #VR has to be @mindshow - it’s constantly getting new content and soon will feature model importing from @poly. Body tracking, multiple camera angles, so much to love! #ARVRinEDU#FutureReady#Animation
